Are her kids going with her? If not, Jamie Spears let her stay home with her boys. She’s made enough money for all of you.

Doesn’t this just rock your socks! Ah well, it’s been her life, she loves dancing and performing. It’s the entrapment, that gets to all of us. No dollars can ever replace some fundamental freedoms most of us often take for granted. But then, think of so many places where millions are suffering. That can put her experience in some kind of perspective. Or does it? A prison it is, whether gilded or not. And torture is gut wrenching and soul destroying – even without physical abuse – when it’s mental and emotional. Does she represent the helplessness so many feel in the face of this vast press of the living, all born to die and with so much needless suffering, of all kinds, in between? Sadness and suffering for others makes me want to grab that shield and spear, rush out in some chariot like a miniature Boadicca, covered with woad and screaming like a banshee. Mixing metaphors, or what?
