A bodyguard helped Katie Holmes and three-year-old Suri walk to their car after a dance lesson in Pacific Palisades. Suri’s getting so big! Her print sundress is adorable, but Katie needs to retire those ragged cutoffs.

Jay Bids Farewell

An era ends this evening, as Jay Leno hosts “The Tonight Show” for the last time.
There is bound to be some sadness on leaving the show after 17 years, and Leno told the AP, “Will I miss it? Yes, terribly. It’s the most wonderful job ever in show business.”
Leno’s final guest will be Conan O’Brien, who is taking over the reins at “The Tonight Show.” In the fall, Leno begins a primetime show airing five nights a week on NBC.
Leno’s 17-year reign gives him the second longest tenure hosting “The Tonight Show,” following the three decades of his predecessor, Johnny Carson.
Farewell and good luck, Jay—we’ll miss you.

Angelina Injured On Set

Angelina Jolie’s perfect puss is a valuable property, so there was major concern today, when she was injured it on a movie set.
According to the AP, the actress and mother of six suffered a bump on her head and a small cut between her eyes today while filming an action scene for her new movie “Salt, ” now shooting on location on Long Island. Jolie was taken to the hospital, examined and released. She returned to the set later in the day.
This may sound trivial, but you don’t mess with a head injury—remember what happened to Natasha Richardson.

Pap Sues Britney For Running Over Foot

The Britney Spears legal circus just keeps rolling on. Now a two-year-old incident has come back to haunt her.
The AP reports a paparazzi photographer who has worked for TMZ filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles today. Ricardo Mendoza alleges the singer committed assault and battery when she ran over his foot in a Beverly Hills parking garage in October 2007. A video of the incident can be viewed here.
Britney was understandably upset at the time, because she had just found out she lost custody of her two sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline, so she probably should have let someone else drive.
But isn’t this just the sort of thing Big Daddy Spears and his mighty Conservatorship are paid to take care of? Why haven’t they already thrown some of Brit’s money at this guy to make it all go away? Does Britney really need to have the mistakes she made during her darkest days dragged out again?

Jason Bateman and Kristen Wiig filmed a tender scene from the film “Extract” on location in Inglewood, CA. Bateman plays a flower-extract plant owner dealing with a series of personal and professional disasters, including his cheating wife (Wiig).
