Adnan Denies Charges
Britney Spears’ former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has finally spoken out about the legal complaint that has him facing three felony charges.
According to RadarOnline, Ghalib filed papers last night in an L.A. court in which he denied “each and every allegation” that had been made against him by process server Ram Moskowitz. The court papers are available here. In February, Moskowitz was attempting to serve the former paparazzo with a restraining order seeking to keep him away from Britney Spears and her family members, when the process server alleges that he was hit by Ghalib’s car.
While it certainly seems like a positive step for Ghalib to answer the complaint against him, why did he take so long? Jamie Spears and his conservatorship cronies have been smearing Adnan’s name for months now—why hasn’t he spoken out before? It’s not just his good name that’s at stake here—it’s his freedom.

Fantasy. I have to look it up but I don’t think Moskowitz worked directly for ASC as an employee. Still he likely took his direction from them as Yemini had a teleconference with G Wyle, and he is named in the CRO.

Is it true that you have a month to file a
response to a lawsuit in order to avoid default or
an automatic win for the other side?
Has it been a month or more since RM filed his
lawsuit? I think it’s been since mid-April.
I’m not sure. I’m glad that Adnan has responded.
How much is RM wanting? btw, I don’t like the
emotional distress excuse. It’s over used and
sounds phoney.

MH. It doesn’t say anything about a building but I find the transcript lacks 110% accuracy. I mean, I would guess surveillance cameras were attached to the building. Where else would they be?
I know I heard PK say Britney Jean Spears but the transcript reads Britney, James Spears re an existing TRO. Tiny error.

The thing about Jordan is, why did he have to put up an embarrassing photo of Britney when he allegedly cares about her? I know you don’t visit there but was it necessary for him to put up a post where part of her shirt is wet or stained? Exhalers haven’t seemed to notice this obvious tear down.

I can’t believe Brit is being sued again. This is the third lawsuit filed against her in six months. If this guy was seriously injured, why did he wait a year and a half to file a lawsuit. All this guy wants is money from the Bank of Britney.
In hingsight, what Brit should have done the moment she realized she had accidentally ran over this guy’s foot was to call the police and have them take a police report to document and record everything that just happened. Even if you’re not at fault it is never a good idea to leaave the scene of an accident.

Actually, guys, this is Britney’s 3rd lawsuit
in as many months. Lutfi filed a lawsuit against
her and her parents back in February.
Kerry Vine filed a lawsuit over a week ago, and
now here’s Mendoza.
All three men waited a year or more to do anything
about what they claim was done to them. I googled
the Statute of Limitations in California and it
said that for Personal Injury you are given 2 yrs.
to file a lawsuit. That’s what Vine and Mendoza
are claiming. Right?
For libel/slander/ or defamation you only are
given 1 year. Written contracts- 4 years and
Oral contracts- 2 years.
That’s what Lutfi’s claiming against Britney and
her parent’s. Right? As well as Jamie hitting him.
Well, that would be considered personal injury.
Wouldn’t it? I think so.
Queen B does have a point. The Mendoza incident
could fall under a hit and run or maybe leaving
the scene of an accident. Did Britney give
Mendoza her number or exchange any info with him
at all? I doubt it. It seemed that everything was
okay at the time. All was forgiven and but
apparently not forgotten. All of these people
are coming out with claims seeking damage$ and
with Britney’s luck, every single one of them
will probably end up getting cut a check.

Amethyst, first let me say that I don’t really
know what the word snarkey means. Having said
that, I don’t think that applies to Queen B.
Britney’s judgment was very poor. Although the
paps around her that day (including Mendoza)
made it seem that everything was okay, you gotta
remember that Mendoza was photographing Britney
or filming her and he couldn’t let something like
a smashed up foot get in the way of him making
money from the incident that caused him pain.
You know the saying bro’s before ho’s?
Well, maybe to Mendoza he was thinking dough
before ho’s. Man, I know I’m gonna catch a lot of
shiz for using that expression. Sorry if I
offend. But it’s the truth. Now to be fair Mendoza
was just as wrong. He should’ve gotten his ass and
his foot out of the way! Like you sad, could’ve,
would’ve, should’ve.
His main concern was the money shot. He’d worry
about his foot later. Now IS later.
We know that he and Vine are full of puppy poo.
But they’ve got the law behind them and have
every right to file suit. Even if it’s a year or
so later. Britney should have taken the proper
steps that day by insisting that the cops be
called or exchanging info with him and checking
on him to see how he was doing. I think she just
wanted to get the heck out of there and not make
a big deal about it. It’s a problem that her
dad and atty’s will have to deal with now.

Fantasy is absolutely right. I do not want to be too critical of Brit but I believe she did exercise poor judgment on that day. She made a mistake and I’m sure she would have handled things differently now.
I know that the guy and the other paps said that “everything was okay” but thinking as an attorney, my whole thought process is how do I avoid future liability which is why I would have called the police anyway just to be safe because someone may have been injured as a result of my actions.
If the police had come and determined that the pap was at fault which he probably was because he was standing too close to her car, that report could be used as evidence in a later civil case to show that Brit should not be held liable.
It is obvious that what happened was an accident. I could easily to see a jury saying the pap 97% liable and Brit is 03% liable. The plaintiff gets nominal damages. I do not see a big pay day for him but the attorney’s fees could be high for Brit. I would hope her insurance carrier would defend her under the terms of her policy.

I saw the video back in 2007 and I re-watched it
today. It’s clear that both Mendoza and Britney
could’ve handled themselves and their actions/
reactions better than they did.
If I am sounding harsh it isn’t because
I’m no longer on Team B. I do support her but when
someone is wrong you gotta be fair reguardless of
how you may personally feel for the person.
Call it what is and be done with it.
Just being honest.
Meanwhile, there’s more tour expantion rumors.
A fansite is saying that Britney will come back
to the US for a 3rd leg of touring after she’s
done with Europe. The US tour part 2 will begin
in Texas in mid-September and there’ll be shows
between then and as late as December with a show
in Florida. Again, for now it’s a rumor.
These rumors often become fact. So I’ll wait and
see if BS.com confirms it later in the year.
If true, that’ll mean Britney wiil be on the road
for about 8 or 9 months. She’s had a short break
this month. She’s booked in Europe for June and
July so maybe she’ll have some or all of August
off and relax before going back on tour in
September. I see a pattern. Tour for 2 months.
Take a month off. Then tour for another 2 months.
Who knows how long this tour will last.
If Britney keeps getting hit with lawsuits this
frequently as she is now, this tour could not
only last all of this year but carry over into
2010. Approximately one year. She needs the cash.
It looks as if the c-ship is trying to get her
wealth back to what is was 5 years ago.
Whatever that may have been.
Britney may spend the remainder of her 20’s under
a conservatorship. Maybe she knows already. It
just hasn’t been publicized yet. Maybe she’s cool
with this. idk. Anyway, that’s what’s out there.

Umm hmm. I saw the new pics this morning.
There’s still people (excluding us) who are
talking about the rosary. They say it’s not the
same or that Britney could have bought it in the
Bahamas last week. I don’t believe that.
So I looked online to see if the Bahamas is a
predominantly Catholic country. It’s 72%
Protestant and only 14% Catholic.
I do know that Mexico is predominantly a Catholic
country. Who doesn’t know that?
I once again googled around for stories written
about A & B’s trip to Rosarito Beach, Mexico.
They had checked into the Rosarito Beach hotel.
I called the hotel that A & B stayed in.
Yep, I sure did. I felt dorky but I did it.
I specifically asked the woman who answered the
phone (who just happens to be bilingual, thank
God for that) if this is the hotel that Britney
Spears stayed at last year. She said, “yes”.
I asked if they had a gift shop at the hotel and
did they sell rosaries. She said that they don’t
have a gift shop at the hotel, but there are
several gift shops in front of the hotel that
does. I wish I knew where the rosary was bought.
The woman gave me the name of one of the gift
shops called Virgo. I asked for a ph. #, but
she said that there’s no phone there.
Long story short, the rosary most likely is ‘The
One’ from Mexico not from anywhere else. And 9 times out of 10 it is ‘The One’ Adnan was wearing
last year in January that Britney is probably
still wearing at this very moment.

For my part I only want to say that I´m deeply dissipointed on what JS allow happening and be done against Adnan.
Not fair at all, in fact a shame, and I have expected better from JS.
I´m also fear that JS no longer are in charge.
That all the parasites and the lawyers now, in this time of financial crisis, feeding themselves like a swap of money eating bacteria, on Britney Spears economy.
Not many persons have the money to feed all this lawyers for instance. they (the lawyers) want let go so easy..

About JS and JFX, I can’t ignore how silent they have been with us and they are even a little more gentile in some of what they post front page.
If JS threatened JM, why not JFX too? Free Britney. It’s still a column on the front page.
I never knew or appreciated how much power JS has until he went after JM. It was the first overt sign of manipulation and intimidation behind the scenes so to speak.

I remain confused about JS. I guess ultimately I think he is human and more than capable of being a control freak. From the outside looking in, it would seem he has made promises such as don’t worry, she’ll be there and she’ll sing.

p.s. JM is small fry. The fact that Jamie “can” go after him is not a surprise but the fact that he would? It’s like he went too far in crushing all who oppose hi in this case a kid he thinks a real threat.

Credit cards. A credit card and being able to spend her own money is a freedom she had before.
My parents ensured I always had a little cash on me as they sure it wasn’t good for one’s self-esteem without it. I always turned over what I didn’t use but it was nice to know I had money for an emergency or food or a movie if I wanted. It was walking around money and I always gave what I didn’t use back.
I can’t imagine being stripped outright from my own money and purchasing power. It’s a return to childhood and being not only under someone else’s control but their “better” judgment.
I’m not going to worry too much about the credit card.

X17 or BH kind of had conflicting stories. First,
on BH someone said that Britney and Jason met up
with K-Fed for a meeting or something.
But X17 is now saying that K-Fed just dropped the
boys off at B’s house on the same day that she and
Trawick went to Starbucks.
B. and Trawick are either dating or they’re not.
It’s not clear. Or perhaps it is clear. A newish
looking bodyguard was with them so things must
not have been as intimate as the pictures or X17
will try to have it’s reader’s believe. I wouldn’t
try to get some action if I had hired help beside

Ama. I would like to say that we haven’t had any drama in months. It is fun to talk about Jason etc. and some days I do get crazy with the media and what people believe in the same way that Queen gets fed up with custody v. visitation and other misnomers.
Fantasy has been a welcome presence. It is fun to talk about what is on the wires. It is fun to look at photographs although sometimes photogs and blogs aka celebrity news sites go too far. It is fun to talk about Perez’s lack of taste or to analyze what he is up to.
This remains a safe supportive environment so I don’t know what you are upset about. It’s not like we are doing anything new save we have something of a lighter air and no drama of late.

My thoughts on the whole Brit/Jason romance is that none exists. I think he has and will always be a good friend to her. Brit is clearly taking advantage of the fact that Jason is one of the few friends Jamie approves of.
A few months ago I remember reading stories about how Brit wanted to be back with Kevin and was trying to sabotage his relationship with Victoria which did not make any sense to me because she dumped Kevin in the first place. I think that a lot of media outlets are trying to make some money by perpetuating the Brit/Jason relationship where none exists like X-17.
Somebody on this board mentioned something about Brit’s allowance and how it works. I always though that Brit had some kind of ATM/Debit card where every week Jamie would transfer funds from another account on to that card. I still think it is crazy that Brit has $1500/week allowance.

Back to Brit’s allowance, on page 39 of the financial spreasheet it shows that the allowance money is being deducted from the City National Bank. I guess I just figured that an easy way to give Brit her allowance is to electronically transfer funds from the account at City National Bank to some other account.
Another way for Brit to get her allowance is for her to use her credit card (AM EX) in an amount that equals her allowance. I’m just speculating.

To be honest with you AM, I find the whole situation quite confusing. Let’s say Jamie Spears has set up an account with a bank with him as the primary carholder with Brit’s name added on so the card would be made out to Jamie but Brit could use it as well. I believe this how parents allow their kids to use their bank/credit cards.
If the allowance money is being wired into a bank account, Brit does not have to sign for anything and when she makes purchases, all she has to do is enter a pin number or sign.
I remember when the conservatorship first went into effect and Brit was allowed to go to the mall. She went into Claire’s and bought some jewelery. TMZ was there and took her picture. TMZ was making jokes about the fact that what she bought was really cheap and inexpensive and that the card that she used had Jamie’s name on it. I believe the purchase was made after the 1500/week allowance was set.
I just really hope that Brit has the right to spend what little money is being allocated for her.

Fantasy–thank you for posting the link. I used to be on top of all new Brit pics and news, but I’ve been slacking. I don’t want to see pictures of her smoking (she needs to quit if not for herself, but for her kids) and frankly I’m not believing much of what I read and see anymore. I will always always be her fan, but I don’t feel I’m seeing HER. Does that make sense? It’s disappointing. I do *heart* her.
Reading about the allowance she gets, considering she’s the one working for it, is so sad.

I can totally believe that E! story on Brit. When I read the quotes supposedly from Brit about how happy she is with her life right now, it seemed suspicious. It makes more sense that is unhappy with her life than happy. I believe that there are moments when she is truly happy-the times she gets to spend with her children- but other than that, no one would want her life.
I understand the conservators want to replenish Brit’s bank accounts but I have no doubt she has already made enough money and thus there was no need to extend the tour throughout Europe in addition to a second leg of her US tour.
One way for the estate to save more money is if Jamie/Wallet and the team of attorneys took a pay cut. Kevin’s child support should also be reduced down to 15k/month.

It’s heartbreaking. This young woman needs
to be able to begin to heal. Her family and her
management were able to get her well just enough
for her to be able to work again. B’s got to
focus on herself. I feel that she’s doing all that
she can to stay strong for the sake of her sons.
But she still needs to tend to her own needs.
I read once that her doctor’s would be on hand
while she’s touring and they’d make sure that she
is coping with the pressure and stress. Was that
a lie? I know that just because I don’t see them
doesn’t mean they’re not there. But I question if
she really has Dr.’s traveling with her. Or on
call in case of an emergency.
There’s still some hope for her whether the c-ship
ends after the tour or not. I want her to be and
feel free to voice how she feels without fearing
it’ll hurt her visitations with the kids or
people thinking the worst about her overall.
Hopefully things will improve soon somehow.

I too thought that Brit’s allowance is being given to her through her use of the AM EX card. I guess it really does not matter if Brit has access to cash or her credit card as long as she gets to buy what she wants but I in no way believe that Brit accumulated all of that credit card debt on her own. Someone else besides Brit is using that card.
Like I said before, as or right now, it appears to me that the conservators are making no effort to transition Brit from out of the conservatorship. I really do not expect to see anything happen until after the tour. Once the tour is over, I feel like something has to happen.
Making the conservatorship permanent was the worst thing that could have happened. I remember TMZ was like permanent is not a big deal all it means is that the conservators do not have to keep going to work asking Goetz to extend the temporary conservatorship but really how much effort does it take to draft the documents. I see no reason why the conservatorship could not have stayed temporary and then every 3 to 6 months Goetz could decide whether to approve or deny the request.

I do not know why anyone on this board bothers going to BH. I actually went to the site last night and when I went to read some of the comments all I saw was dozens of nude photos of some guy’s body part. How disgusting. I know other people have encountered the same thing and there is no warning.
The people who post on this site are smart, sophisticated and discerning. We ask the tough questions and see things that are not on the surface. The individuals on BH are living in La La land. I actually read someone who thought that Brit had full custody of the boys because Kevin allowed her to take them for a week vacation. He actually thought that Kevin agreed to give her full physical custody after the tour. I do not think so. Kevin would never relinquish control over those two boys-his kids with Shar definitely, SP and JJ no way.
I actually do not have a problem with Jamie getting paid as long as he is actually doing the work my problem is that overall, too much money is being spent. Everybody and I mean everybody needs to reduce their fees, bottom line.

and her father too. Remember, it wasn’t that long
ago that I was defending Jamie. I’ve gone back
and forth on the c-ship issue. I think that the
original purpose of the c-ship has gone in a
different direction. The system is broken. And
Britney is just another person, although much
younger, who is stuck in a system that needs to
be repaired or destroyed.
It’s unfortunate that what Ted Casablanca reported
is being dismissed because of Jamie Kennedy having
connection to Alli, and he interviewed JM who has
a connection to Lutfi. Some think that E!=Sam or
Alli and or JM.
It’s going to take something MAJOR happening to B
in order for the mainstream media to take interest
in this case. I hope that nothing happens to her.
But it looks like that’s what it’ll take to get
some attention outside of rag mags and blogs.

When the c-ship first started, I had my doubts because of who was put in charge, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. I was cautious. If I ever use “Let’s hope” or “Let’s see”, it’s usually because I am not fully believing what is going on. It is my way of trying to be optimistic, but the doubt is still there.
As for E!, I believe some of what they say only because of Ryan Seacrest’s connection to Larry Rudolph. LR is nowhere to be seen which leads me to believe that he could be spilling info anonymously.

Queen B. I’ll only speak for myself.
I go to BH because it’s pretty much the only
place I can go to any time of the day or night
that’s is active. Jordan used to post updates
as late as 2 or 3 in the morning Las Vegas time.
I don’t always sleep well so I go there in the
middle of the night just to see if there’s
anything interesting to read or look at. You know,
other than gay sex pics and animal porn. (ha ha)
OMG. L-O-L. As gross as it was to see that stuff
for some strange reason I thought it was funny.

Queen. For me BH offers a glimpse at “fan” reaction.
I usually appreciate the graphics such as the sigs.
They are also fast at providing pics and last minute info such as when Radar would be filmed. That hadn’t been posted anywhere outside of one poster at Exhale that I know.
It is disheartening what some of them believe or want to believe. It also tells me something about Britney’s world, e.g. crazy possessive fans on the street.
It’s just another information source and it has a fair amount of traffic. I had a lot to catch up on. Still do. Over there they can take one photo and often identify everyone in it and their history.
Fantasy. At some point I too thought what I was looking at was funny. (ha ha) Even when they are gross they have pretty creative posters over there.
Some of the posters are scurrilous but it’s because Jordan hasn’t been cleaning house and taking care of the community. It’s costing him but only he really knows the number of viewers. For all I know the scurrilous posters are upping his numbers.
I post once in awhile but usually I just scan for a pulse or for pics. I have to keep Mark and our friends employed afterall. Without us there is no market.
Could I live without BH? Sure. We’ve got our group. I hope we still have Steel. She’s an asset.

I appreciate everyone’s comments on BH. The reason why I visited BH is because I get the die hard fans perspective on Brit which I admit can be quite interesting.
The problem with BH is that there is no objectivity when it comes to Brit. I’ve learned to question everything I read and hear about Brit’s life.

Trawick as not hired by her father than I know. Right? So it must be a relief to be with an old friend who saw her through good times and bad, and moreover, someone who isn’t analyzing her all the time or reporting back to her dad.
He’s an agent. Whatever he arranges for all make money. No one pays their agent. They get a commission. Trip to the Bahamas? Maybe one of Britney’s conditions to bring a friend along.

The entertainment industry is selling a product, let’s call it “the talent”. The lifestyles and attitudes taken for granted (”hohum, don’t get busted”) in the industry would be seen by most as bizarre? amoral? sick? But slide your mind sideways into a world which is almost all about appearances. Who are they? The act? or ..? And if they are doing the dee-rugs dears, legal and/or illegal (it’s everywhere, any time) then it’s anyone’s guess. Very little experienced by “the talent” is of what most people know as real life issues. There’s always someone to pick up after them, fix things for them, wipe their noses etc. Someone like Britney was/is totally unpracticed in what is usual behavior, usual living. Update. The hearing on May 29th was open to the public. Predominantly, documents were filed.
In civilian terms:
Eardley’s documents from May 14th to vacate judgment etc. and move for a trial were noticed. Was there a motion to strike? The matter was argued and I think continued. The public affairs officer couldn’t tell me to when.
There wasn’t any mention of Sam Lutfi or Adnan in the minute order.

It just sounds like a young woman who didn’t know
who she was and was trying to discover her real
self. She wanted out of the blonde bombshell
image that had been created. She was tired of the
fakeness of who that person is. She needed every
one to give her time, space, and support as she
grew as a woman and figured out who Britney the
person is. And allow that Britney to live life
for once. She was just growing up. That’s what
it’s called.
Lynne sounded like a real nag. Britney knew her
responsibilities as a mom. It seems like she just
was having a tough time getting it all together.
Lynne shouldn’t have put Kevin and Britney side
by side and compared their parenting at that time
or at any other. She was wrong to do that.
Sounds like a guilt-trip Lynne tried to put over
Britney that backfired. It must have hurt Britney
having her own mother pretty much say that your
parenting sucks and your ex is a better parent.
Lynne’s behavior was disgraceful. Ugh.
The people around B. have got to begin to
reprioritize. The career shouldn’t be #1.
In my opinion , there isn’t very much that’s
changed since the VMA’s to the Circus
era. Except that her dad has control over every
single thing and she’s doing what was wanted from
her two years ago. Which is to get back to work
and make as much money as she can. Such a sad life

Fantasy. The good news I imagine is, no scandal, not with Victoria around.
I don’t think Kevin’s drives disappeared overnight and what a playground is London.
I think it’s very unfair to Britney who can’t be with anyone especially the one she loves in that special way.
Without that option, I think the only thing Britney cares about are that her kids are with her and are being well taken care of, e.g., Kevin doesn’t do anything stupid.
One could be bitter. I am certain that “Britney doesn’t like it” will quickly fuel the fire. What else is there to write about other than Britney was a no-show for the bizarre after-show party so publicized. Or a reunion with Michael Jackson.
Also, Kevin will likely be paid (agency) to be seen out with his children along with Victoria (more fuel to the fire) so that’s good I guess.
I hope the kids will have a good time. I hope they will like rashers and be fascinated by eggs cooked in clear glass in gold oil. I was.
I think Victoria is the non-drinker stress reliever, keep Kevin in check.

Back to Kevin for a sec. There is a difference between the image of a single guy going to a bowling alley and one where he arrives with a healthy looking woman who is modestly dressed.
If K-Fed hits a pub or two in London, there would be a difference is showing him drinking a pint and smoking alone, and one with an attractive sport-health looking woman drinking water at his side.
I don’t believe there is a romantic interest but I could be wrong. It wouldn’t surprise me if Camp Spears found her.

I had a feeling that Victoria would accompany Kevin to London just like she did when he went to Vancouver and New York. Victoria had a job but she quit that job she could be with Kevin full time.
I’m sure Kevin figures that with the amount of money he is making on this tour, he can afford to support both of them. There is nothing Brit can do about Victoria being there. As the custodial parent, Kevin has a lot of power.

The ones who talk about her looking fat are professionals such as yoyobrit. She and others define a different class of fan but she freely admits she goes to BH to be an a**. You begin to get the idea of why we toyed with her — it was so much better and fun than being mad or trying to understand because there is no understanding of someone like that.
This board has been through ups and downs with tension but eventually we found some union. Of course we also had a moderator, ‘peace and love people.’
I am sure you can read through a site such as Exhale and pick up the “real fans” (even the creepy ones who obsess about every detail and freak when Britney shows a line or two or a pound or wears red lipstick) and those who are there to enjoy disturbing others.
They come here once in awhile. I feel like I am narrating from a Startrek episode.
There are a couple of posters over there that really freak me out because it’s all so real to them, e.g., they don’t like a hat, they prefer this … it really is treating her like a Barbie and then to wonder/sulk/worry as to if Britney even likes her fans and looking for reassurance that she does. It’s an odd kind of love.
I get annoyed and I would like to think I don’t judge those fans. The other ones I flat out don’t respect. They know what they are doing: hurting people. They have tried that here and not found love or appreciation for their “brilliance.”
p.s. Fantasy. I became a Britney fan over the last year. She won me over in a number of ways. lol I’ve never been a fan of a celebrity nor of a pap agency. It is a new experience. It doesn’t embarrass me like it used to.

I’m just guessing that Kevin is paying Victoria’s way. The only thing I know is that Jamie agree to pay for Kevin to go on the tour, if Kevin wants Victoria to come as well, I do not think it would be fair to Brit to pay her expenses as well because she does not need to be there.
If Kevin is unhappy it is because his life sucks. Sure he has full custody of his two little cash cows but he is still an overweight, former back up dancer/failed rapper with no real career to speak of. Last I heard he was still pursuing the rap thing wasting money that could be going to Kori and Kaleb. How would you feel being the laughing stock of the nation? This tour was the best thing to happen to Kevin, more money for him to spend without having to do anything.

I think he only thought the money would make him happy. I think when he was saying beetch he didn’t realize it was his life that would be controlled.
He had a deal with Jamie for example but Kaplan came in and got involved. So we are told by the media.
When was the last time he was allowed to interview live? And don’t think he hasn’t been invited.
He’s muzzled alright save when it comes to image and family — then he too has a script of questions, photos with his children, etc. It’s not that much different than Britney.
You say that Britney has no choice. In the U.S., if we are to believe media, she said my children come or else.
Wasn’t Kaplan interesting? He could barely conciel his contempt, if that is what it was, “It’s not about what she wants. It’s what’s in the best interest of the children.’ He’s divorced himself you know in a marriage that didn’t last long. Two attorneys going at it. She moved back to the Atlantic coast and became a low profile professor.
K-Fed is not a free man. Maybe he bargains as Britney does with her father. $30,000 a month if true? Might well include expenses for Victoria?

Goetz handles the conservatorship part and Bobb handles the restraining order part of Brit’s case. Goetz gave Jamie the authority to obtain a restraining order on Brit’s behalf and Bobb decides whether the restraining order is appropriate and necessary.
I do not think Goetz is going to make a big deal about all of the expenses because the kind of lifestyle that Brit’s lives in extraordinary. I do not think Goetz is going to raise hell of the Christmas lights considering that Brit’s home is worth 9 million dollars.

Really Queen? Brit lives extra-ordinary or her dad does? You make it sound like nothing has changed and Britney is spending the money.
I would hope for an intelligent judge to discern, hey some of these bills are extra-ordinary, whose idea was ______ and ______ and _______ blank? And what’s this credit to the trust for $18,000 for a car? Who is driving that car?
And what are we up to? Nearly $4 Million in attorneys fees and how much was drawn out of Britney’s savings to pay for that? About the same.
Britney did not earn $12 million in 2008.
I hope your predictions are wrong, Queen. I don’t comprehend your understanding that it is Britney spending this money. It’s not. The judge knows this.

I understand that Brit is not spending the money but I am trying to play devil’s advocate and see things from another perspective. The average person at Christmas probably buys a few things from Target or Walmart and that is it for decorations. I can see someone like Brit hiring a company to hang some amazing lights and assorted decorations in an elaborate fashion in and around her home hence the large bill.
I know Brit did not hire the company but $5000 in lights is nothing compared to her monthly mortgage.
In regards to her legal fees, I know that Goetz approved the fees giving to Stacy Philips (family law attorney); Ingham; Wallet and Jamie’s lawyers for the conservatorship. In addition, she also approved the fees given to the firms that are defending Brit in the Wright/Lufti lawsuits. Now in the case of Stacy Philips, I believe she was asking for more fees than were actually awarded by the court.
The legal fees make up a considerable amount of Brit’s expenses and Goetz has already signed off on those fees. Goetz is an attorney so she knows that the prestigious firms can get away with charging the clients a lot of money.

I agree with many people who believe that Brit’s expenses are too high and should be reduced. I have said that I think that everyone on the team should have their fees reduced but that does not mean that I can’t make argument for why some of the large expenses could be considered reasonable.
Like I said before, I’m playing devil’s advocate and trying to understand how much money could be spent. People may wonder how can Goetz approve of all of the fees and I’m trying to explain why she could say that it is okay.
People are mad at Jamie/Co for spending so much money but many of the expenses Goetz has personally approved of so any anger should really be directed at her. Goetz said that Jamie could lease a vehicle; rent office space and retain counsel on Brit’s behalf. Goetz is the one who said yes to Brit going on tour.

For the record, I do not think I said anything about the money that was spent on pet care. Like many, I was amazed that Brit, through the conservators, had spent 10 million in one year and someone pointed out the pet care and then there was a whole discussion about whatever happened to Brit’s dogs.
AM made it seem like the Goetz would be outraged or deeply upset about the amount of expenses but I do not think she will be considering that the conservators had her prior approval in many instances. Ingham is Brit’s court appointed attorney and I do not see him making a fuss.

So I checked the last thread and I was not the first person who brought up pet care. Someone mentioned the 255 and in a later post I said I thought that amount was too much or a lot but that Brit pays too much for everything but on the other hand, everything is relative.
The average person does not live in 8 or 9 million dollar mansion in a gated community and travel the world making millions on tour. The amount she pays in child support per month is more than what some people making in a year.

Who brought up the pet care expense?
I may have been one of a few who mentioned it.
Britney’s lifestyle is different, larger, & more
extravagant that most. But I still can’t help
but ask why the jdg. would overlook the
decoration fee amongst a few other expenses and
say, “Oh, it’s no big deal. She’s a celebrity
so it’s okay.” There are things that should be
questioned by Goetz. She should demand that there
be cut backs on certain things.
Isn’t part of the meaning of conserving the estate
is to stop the overspending that was being done
before the c-ship began? It looks as if there’s
still an exorbitant amount of money being handed
out. Even if most of it is to attys., it’s still
too much. There’s $$ coming in from the tour but
it just seems to me that the jdg. is turning a
blind eye to things that I think she should call
the conservators on.
Next up. Another court date for Adnan on 6/4.
Will it be mostly ignored like the last court

The only time his case has been covered was when

Going back to Brit’s expenses, in 2007 it was reported that she earned over 700k per month and her expenses were slightly over 100k per month. I have no doubt that now her monthly expenses are probably higher than in 2007 because of the conservatorship. There are certain expenses that are directly related to the conservatorship and then there are decisions that Jamie has made such as hiring around the clock security at a high rate.
Goetz could reign in a lot of the expenses but so far she has chosen not to. Goetz says that Jamie can hire security and lease a car but she does not say that the conservators are only allowed to spend X amount and no more. Goetz says that Jamie can hire a law firm to defend Brit from multiple lawsuits but does not put a cap on attorney’s fees.
Bryan received 200k for his work with the SJB Trust. What exactly has Bryan done to earn that amount. Some people would feel uncomfortable taking so much money from a sibling.

About attorney fees, I’m surprised that Kaplan’s fees are so much compared to Britney’s lawyer. I’m only talking about her custody lawyer. Talk about stealing money from someone. Ridiculous.

There is a show on Animal Planet called “Beverly Hills Groomer”. This guy had previously won the top prize another show “Groomer Has It”. He has a mobile grooming van and he has worked with some B and C list celebrities who live on the westside. He charges $100 for grooming each pet. Some people will pay extra for the convenience. This show kind of puts into perspective how anyone can pay $255 for pet care.
Also, while watching the show I found out that there is a club in LA that caters to people and their animals. People actually bring their pets to the parties. For people who really love their animals and can afford, money is no object.

As for Israel? I hope you saw my post that that CPO was expected in general, it being a criminal proceeding and a CPO standard. TMZ and others made it seem a bigger deal than it was.
The cameras were there because Adnan was there. He had to be.
I think Korn’s bigger beef was with a Spears’ attorney being in the courtroom. That attorney isn’t identified as such but what other attorneys’ would have been granted an opportunity to go into chambers with Isreal, Korn, the court reporter, and the judge?
I was hoping to get the transcript online but I think I posted what was of the most interest in terms of questions we had and/or to refute excitable news by TMZ.
I could be wrong but I imagine it will be a quiet day as two attorneys come back together again to answer the question, “Now do you both have what you need as far as exchanging witness lists and material evidence? Are you both satisfied?”

The one I found that looks most like Bryan’s car
is called a Porsche Cayman. I don’t know the
year, but I’d guess it’s at least a 2008/09.
It’s a convertible too and they’re pricey.

“He was simply trying to help a person that he thought was in distress,” Diamond said. “He took his actions in good faith. This award would be devastating. The amounts … are shocking.”
But Joel Boxer, an attorney for the conservators, said the fee requests have been lowered more than once and that the judge has jurisdiction to rule without waiting for the outcome of the appeals.
“I believe this is the appropriate time,” Boxer said.
Ghalib, 36, pleaded not guilty in February to three felony charges for allegedly ramming his car into a process server who was trying to serve him with the restraining order earlier that month.
Lutfi, 34, has not attended the hearings before Bobb, which began in late February.

A lawsuit by Britney Spears’ ex-manager against the pop star and her parents will not go to trial until next year, a judge ruled today.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Zaven V. Sinanian scheduled the trial of Osama “Sam” Lutfi’s lawsuit for March 8, 2010. Attorneys for Jamie Spears, the singer’s father, said his client is considering bringing a countersuit, while a lawyer for Lynne Spears, the entertainer’s mother, said he may seek to dismiss the defamation claim against her on grounds it interferes with her free- speech rights.
However, attorneys on all sides also told the judge they will see if the case can be resolved with the help of a private mediator.
Lutfi’s lawsuit alleges the pop star’s mother defamed him, that her father assaulted him and that the singer owes him money for management fees.
Lutfi’s court papers allege that Jamie punched him in the chest at the singer’s home in January 2008.
In the defamation claim, Lutfi’s court papers cite passages in Lynne Spears’ book, “Through the Storm, A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World,” which he said contain false information, including a claim that Lutfi admitted he threw away Britney’s phone chargers and disabled her house phones.
The suit was filed in February, four days after Spears was granted a temporary restraining order against Lutfi, her 36-year-old former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and attorney Jon Eardley, forbidding all three from having contact with her, her parents and her two young sons.
The order was later extended until 2012 against Ghalib first, then later until the same year against the other two men as well.
