Jessica The Tagger?

Would mom Jessica Alba approve of her kids defacing property? She won’t have to deal with that for a few years yet, but the actress is in hot water with the officials in Oklahoma City over her actions there last week.

Alba was photographed pasting large posters of a great white shark over several billboards in downtown Oklahoma City, including one for the United Way charity. The actress was working with an organization called White Mike, which is “meant to shed light on the dwindling state of the Great White Shark population.” The folks who had to pay to repair the defaced billboards are not amused.

Alba seems to have had second thoughts about the poster plastering, and released this statement, as quoted by TMZ: 

“I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident.”

So what does defacing billboards have to do with saving the sharks, anyway?
