Denise Richards was spotted leaving CBS studios after visiting the set of “Swingtown” in Studio City, CA. I have no idea why she was there, since the show was cancelled months ago.

Drugs Confiscated At Jackson Home

The likelihood that prescription drugs were involved in the sudden death of pop icon Michael Jackson grew even higher today as evidence was gathered from the home where he died.
According to the AP, investigators from the coroner’s office and police detectives spent several hours in the entertainer’s last home, leaving with what were described as “two large red bags filled with evidence.” Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter stated the search was intended to collect “additional items” including “some medications.”
It will take the results of the two autopsies performed on Jackson to pinpoint the real reason for his death, but it’s becoming obvious that the singer fell into the same trap that killed another “King” at 42—too many Dr. Feelgoods dispensing too many pills, and too many hired “friends” who chose to ignore what was really happening.

Drea’s A “Desperate Housewife”

A taste of Italian spice is coming to Wisteria Lane this fall, as a new family moves in.
Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly broke the news this afternoon that Emmy-winning “Sopranos” actress Drea de Matteo will join the cast of “Desperate Housewives” this fall as the matriarch of an Italian family that also includes “her landscape designer husband and their tightly wound son.”
With Edie Britt gone, the series could definitely use a new vamp on the block, and Drea certainly fills the bill. While the actress has never been a “housewife” in real life, she became engaged to longtime BF Shooter Jennings earlier this month, when he proposed to her onstage during a show in Utica, NY. The couple have an 18-month-old daughter named Alabama Gypsyrose.
I’m a huge fan of “Housewives,” and Drea is one of my favorite actresses, so I’m totally looking forward to the new season. Especially after the vast wasteland this summer’s TV is turning out to be.
