Courteney Acts Her Age

On her new series “Cougar Town,” Courteney Cox plays a 40-something divorcee trying to dive back into the dating pool. In real life, Cox is the happily married mom to a little girl, but playing her character has inspired the former “Friends” star to look at aspects of her own life—like getting older.

The actress told the L.A. Times, “Well, the show doesn’t make me think about aging—I’ve been thinking about aging since I’ve been aging. I can’t believe the time I spent in my 30s, even late 30s, thinking about some of the stuff I did. That was ridiculous. What a waste of time. Now I actually need to start thinking about it.”

Given how great she looks at 45, Courteney can afford to put off worries about aging a little longer!
