Katherine Heigl has often been photographed smoking a cigarette—and just as often been criticized for it. But now the “Gray’s Anatomy” star has managed to kick the habit. The IMDB reports Heigl has been smoke-free for over a month.

The actress has lamented, “I started smoking when I was 24, because I’m an idiot. I don’t enjoy it so much now, because I’ve become such a slave to it. I hate planning my life around when I’m getting a cigarette.”

So has the 30-year-old star kicked the nicotine habit for general health reasons—or is she planning to get pregnant sometime soon?
