Lindsay Gets A Job

After a log, dry spell, actress Lindsay Lohan has finally landed a gig—but not on the screen. The AP reports Lohan has been hired as an “artistic adviser” by the design house of Emanuel Ungaro.

In attempting to explain why, Ungaro CEO and president Mounir Moufarrige stated, “A designer only-led fashion house isn’t enough, so we’re adding a super consumer who gives us a direct channel to consumers.” I’m guessing that means, they’re hiring Linds because she like to shop a lot, even if she doesn’t have any money.

The label is probably trying to attract a younger demo, but hiring someone whose only design experience involves leggings doesn’t seem like the way to do it.
