Ashlee Loves Being A Mom

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz looks very much the glamorous vamp on the cover of the Octover issue of Redbook, but the “Melrose Place” actress insists her favorite role is that of mom to 10-month-old Bronx.

“Being a mom’s so empowering and incredible. I’m one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that’s where the best moments come from.”

Ashlee has even given big sis Jessica the urge to start a family. “She’s always saying, ‘Oh, I want a baby!’” Jess probably better look for a man who’ll hang around for awhile before she starts that project for herself.
