Brittany Brings On The Crazy

Brittany Murphy’s once-promising career had descended to mostly TV and straight-to-DVD movies, due in part to her history of erratic behavior. The actress was in her usual form last night, as the high winds that whipped L.A. also whipped Brittany into a frenzy.

TMZ reports the LAPD received a 911 call from the actress, screaming about hearing gunfire near her Hollywood home. The cops arrived on the scene found a hysterical Brittany—but no evidence of a firearm. Instead, the noise had come from a generator affected by the windy conditions. Take those meds, Brittany. And calm down.
