Adnan Sentenced to 45 Days
After pleading No Contest to leaving the scene of an accident last month, Adnan Ghalib was sentenced today to 45 days in jail with credit for one days served. He will also serve probation and community service and be required to take anger management classes. This all stems from an incident earlier this year when process servers tried to serve Adnan papers and instead were allegedly run over by Ghalib as he fled the scene. Three of the more serious felony counts were dropped.

VAN NUYS – A former boyfriend of singer Britney Spears pleaded no contest today to leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly drove his car towards a man serving a restraining order against him on Feb. 11.
Adnan Ghalib, 37, entered the plea before Van Nuys Superior Court Judge Susan Speer.
The victim was serving a temporary restraining order obtained by Spears’s father on Ghalib, a paparazzi photographer, at his Encino apartment complex when Ghalib allegedly drove his car toward the victim and then drove away.
In exchange for the plea, two other felony counts will be dismissed when Ghalib is sentenced Nov. 20. He faces up to a year in county jail.

Chin up Adan. They will get their payback one day. Idiots can’t keep her locked away one day. This may one day come back to bite them in their ass.

DATELINE: LOS ANGELES
Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is being sent to jail for 45 days for leaving the scene of an accident.
Los Angeles District Attorney’s spokeswoman Jane Robison says Ghalib was taken into custody immediately after being sentenced Friday.
He pleaded no contest last month to leaving the scene of an accident that injured a man who was trying to serve him with a restraining order. The order was sought by Spears’ father and was eventually granted.
The process server has sued Ghalib, a paparazzo. That case is still pending.
Robison says Ghalib was also ordered to serve three years of formal probation and perform 45 days of roadside cleanup duty.
The 37-year-old was facing up to a year in county jail.
