Will Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal be kissing under the mistletoe this holiday? Maybe not, as a source blabbed to People that the pair has called it quits. Reese’s rep denies the story, telling US Weekly, “It’s not true. They have not split.”
This superstar duo has never seemed to be all that close, so the talk isn’t much of a surprise. I predict Reese and Jake will find other sweethearts in time for New Year’s Eve.

The teen dream duo of Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have kept their budding relationship pretty quiet, but the “New Moon” hunk finally revealed his feelings for the country cutie. Lautner told Rolling Stone, “Aside from being beautiful, she’s extremely funny, charismatic and fun to be around.” He sounds smitten! I’ll bet there are millions of girls from Team Jacob who wish they could be in Swift’s fancy cowboy boots!

Michael’s Kids Spend Thanksgiving With Grandpa Joe

Before his untimely death in June, Michael Jackson made sure that his father Joe spent as little time as possible with his three kids. But since the superstar is no longer around to keep the children from their grandfather, he’s been creeping back into their lives.
RadarOnline reports that in defiance of the agreement that allows Prince, Paris and Blanket to live with their grandmother Katherine, the three spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with the Jackson patriarch. Old Joe was cut out of Michael’s will and is fighting for an allowance from the estate. Is he using the kids to try to get the $$$ he wants?

Paris Hilton may seem like the ultimate pretty-in-pink girly girl, but the heiress insists she has a more natural side. She told People, “I still am a tomboy. I love to go fishing. I love sports. I used to play ice hockey. You know, I think people only see the glamour and the parties, but when I’m at home I’m completely different.” Lately, Paris’ favorite sport seems to be fighting—with BF Doug Reinhardt.

Gwyneth Paltrow can do anything better than we peons, or at least she thinks so. In the latest offering from her GOOP newsletter, the actress offers her snooty take on what to do with Thanksgiving turkey.
“This year we have added a succulent slow roasted turkey recipe to the repertoire along with a gorgeous recipe for gnocchi from the divine Ruthie Rogers and her peeps at The River Café. When we were doing the recipe testing we were left with so much turkey, we decided to address an age-old problem…what do we do with all of it? We came up with two absolutely delicious ways to turn your extra bird into lunch and dinner over the weekend that are far from the ordinary sandwich.”
The recipes involve dozens of ingredients you probably don’t have on hand, and require more time and effort that cooking the original turkey did—just what we all need after spending all that time cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Pass the mayo and white bread—I’m making a turkey sandwich.
