Friends Won’t Let Katy Tweet While Drunk

Some stars have been embarrassed later when they read what they had posted on Twitter while under the influence, but pop star Katy Perry has a trick for avoiding that problem. The singer’s pals have banded together to keep her off the cell when she’s been imbibing too much.

“I’m obsessed with Twitter,” Katy revealed. “Sometimes, whenever I go out — not when I’m on tour but when I’m at home and I’m out and I’m celebrating — if I have a couple of drinks my friends will take away my phone in fear of me buzz Twittering because you never know what I might say. And I’m glad they do it too.”  Too bad Courtney Love can’t find friends like that.
