Betty’s Big Move

This had not been a good season for the series “Ugly Betty.” A move to Friday night has sent ratings plunging, reaching a new low over the Thanksgiving weekend.

But things may be looking up for the Suarez clan, as ABC is giving the show a break. Variety reports “Ugly Betty” will be moving to Wednesday night, following the new comedy hits “Modern Family” and “Cougar Town.”

The show will inherit to slot formerly filled by the now cancelled “Eastwick.” I’m hoping this change will give “Betty” a boost, because the series is just too good to lose.
