Jessica Was Almost Named Farrah

Jessica Alba became a very fetching blonde for the film “Valentine’s Day” last summer, but in real life, she was almost named after one of the most iconic golden girls of television!

On Tuesday’s “Lopez Tonight,” the actress related how her parents had considered naming her Farrah Dawn Luisa Alba, because of her mom’s resemblance to “Charlie’s Angels” star Farrah Fawcett. But after Jessica was born, her Latino dad had other ideas.

“I came out brown. And my dad was like ‘she’s not allowed to be Farrah.’ On my first birth certificate, it’s a scratch and he wrote Jessica Marie. My dad named me.” It’s probably all for the best, since Farrah Alba just doesn’t sound like a superstar.
