Ryan’s Finally Being A Dad To Redmond

Ryan O’Neal has been largely absent from the life of his son Redmond, but in the wake of Farrah Fawcett’s death, the actor is reaching out to the troubled boy. Recently, the father has become a weekly visitor to Redmond O’Neal’s residential in patient rehab program at Impact in Pasadena, California.

An insider revealed to RadarOnline that the star is a “willing participant in Redmond’s recovery and treatment. It’s very important to Ryan that Redmond get and stay healthy.” It’s sad that it took the death of Redmond’s mother to bring out Ryan’s paternal side, but hopefully he can do more to keep his youngest off drugs than he’s managed to do for his older children.
