Brittany’s Husband Claims Studio Killed Her

The grieving husband of actress Brittany Murphy, who died last month at the age of 32, is blaming Hollywood—and one studio in particular—for her demise.

Simon Monjack revealed to The Daily Beast that he is suing Warner Brothers for wrongful death, saying his wife was “devastated” when the studio fired her from a film just two weeks before she died. Just a month earlier, the actress had been dropped from “The Caller,” a film being shot in Puerto Rico, amid rumors that Monjack was causing trouble on the set.

I seriously doubt that Monjack will get anywhere with this suit, because the charges are too hard to prove—especially since the cause of Brittany’s death has not yet been determined.
