It must be love when a hard-living rocker gives up his cigarette habit for his new bride!
RadarOnline reports Mandy Moore received a very special present from husband Ryan Adams for her birthday this weekend—he quit smoking. Mandy Twittered, “I’m so proud of my husband for fighting the good fight to continue to live as a non-smoker. He’s the best there is.”
Good luck to Ryan on staying smoke-free, because a longtime tobacco habit is really hard to break.

No Honeymoon Yet For Mandy And Ryan

It’s been more than two weeks since Mandy Moore’s surprise wedding to rocker Ryan Adams in GA, but the pair still hasn’t found time for a homeymoon!
But Mandy didn’t sound too unhappy about it when she spoke to E! at last night’s Latisse launch party. “We’ll have to talk about it. I’m happy being home. Home is a honeymoon enough for me!”
It sounds like Ryan knows how to keep his new bride happy—even without romantic trips to exotic places!

Mandy And Ryan’s Simple Wedding

Details are coming out about the surprise wedding of Mandy Moore to Ryan Adams in Georgia earlier this week. People spoke to Pastor Steve Schulte, who married the couple. He stated, “She was thrilled to be getting married. She was giddy but not in a childish way. She was obviously so happy.”
This was obviously no formal wedding, as Moore wore “a cream-colored, lacy tea-length dress and flat sandals” while Adams chose “tight skinny jeans, a T-shirt with sport coat and sneakers.” Well, it’s nice that they didn’t go to too much trouble. It’s only their wedding.
The ceremony took only eight minutes, including the couple exchanging silver rings from a local jeweler in Savannah. Another guest said, “It was so romantic. It was awesome. I just can’t stress how happy they seemed.”
Mandy had said earlier that she wanted a low-key affair so it looks like she got one.

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have gone from newly-engaged to newlywed in only a month! Reps for the couple confirmed to US Weekly that the pair were married Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia.
The stealth wedding is hardly surprising since Mandy said last month how she wanted it to be. “Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody. I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I’ll see what I can accomplish.”
Mission accomplished! Congrats to the happy couple!
