There seems to be a big baby craze going on in Hollywood, or maybe celebrities these days are more likely to show off their baby bumps than those of years past. Either way, we wanted to give you an update on our favorite pregnant stars, and name a few more folks you probably didn’t know were expecting. We start off with our favorite genie in a bottle (okay, that was way dorky), Christina Aguillera, who’s awaiting her first bundle of joy with hubby Jordan Bratman. She’s clearly enjoying being pregnant, showing off her baby bump above at the Rock The Vote event last week at Kitson. We’ve been hearing they’re expecting a boy, but we’ll all find out soon enough.

Halle Berry, 41, is looking as beautiful as ever. She’s also glowing and happily expecting her first child with model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry. I know a lot of people can’t wait to see how pretty this baby’s going to be. I know that’s really superficial, but it’s Halle Berry’s baby. The baby’s definitely going to be a cutie-pie.

Jennifer Lopez also just confirmed a few weeks ago with hubby Marc Anthony that they’re expecting. It will be her first child and his fourth. Jennifer looks really happy these days and she’s been open throughout her career about wanting to be a mom. This baby’s definitely going to be rocking some outfits. Congrats to her.

And we can’t forget Nicole and Joel. The 26-year old has really turned her life around the last few years and looks healthier than ever and we’re sure will be an awesome mom.

There are also other celebs expecting, including Usher and new wife Tameka Foster, as well as Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth (with girlfriend Tara Wilson). Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter (with hubby Tim Burton) and one of my favorite Soprano ladies ever, Drea de Matteo, are all waiting for their bundles to arrive. We’ll definitely update you in the coming months, so check with us regularly.

We’ve featured many pictures of Angelina Jolie looking simply marvelous in her attire for the period piece, The Changeling. But to see the set, complete with era-specific cars and all the extras dressed in depression-era garb is something else. I had a chance to drive through downtown Los Angeles, where production for the Changeling continued in front of City Hall, and saw many of the extras hanging around afterwards, still dressed in their costumes. It was nice to imagine a time when folks took special care in their attire, dressing up in a nice three-piece suit for the men, and layered skirted attires complete with pearls and hats for the women. I looked down at my orange Havaianas flip flops and almost felt compelled to put on some shoes. But hey, we ARE in sunny Los Angeles. And it is almost 2008. Okay, that’s no excuse not to wear shoes in November, but I can still look out the car window and lust after frilly skirts and flirty heels. The Changeling is set for a November 2008 release. Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale took baby Kingston out for a bite to eat and a little shopping for Christina Aguilera’s baby shower on Saturday. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden took a hand in hand stroll on Melrose Ave. yesterday. Joel, just back from touring Australia, took Nicole to his DCMA Collective Store on trendy Melrose Ave. Nicole looks thrilled to be out with Joel and seems to be enjoying her pregnancy. I just hope when their child is born that they add some color to the kids wardrobe and not dress the kid in black from head to toe.

There’s nothing like spending a partially cloudy Friday afternoon in tinsel town with one our more famous residents, Ms. Britney Spears (and her newly purchased Mercedes). Britney spent some time at the Four Seasons Hotel, one of her favorite retreats in the city, then headed off to a shopping spree on Robertson Blvd. at Bel Bambino.

I was not familiar with Bel Bambino prior to Brit’s visit, but soon found out that it’s a very chic baby boutique in Beverly Hills. We still haven’t confirmed what, if any, she bought in the store. Could they be toys and trinkets for her two main little men? Or a gift for a preggy friend? Ah, the questions we must ponder over the weekend while watching football and barbecuing carne asada. In other news, Kate Moss’ good friend and fellow super-supermodel, Naomi Campbell, also arrived at LAX last night. There really must be a special gala happening in town, or a catwalk reunion. Ms. Naomi, as beautiful as ever, came in with her usual pout, extra large sunglasses and handlers escorting her fabulous self. Hopefully Naomi got some shut eye during her flight, because we know that she has her extra grumpy moods and such. But really, who doesn’t? Here we have Rimmel London’s leading lady arriving late last night at LAX. Kate Moss came without her daughter in tow, probably to attend some fabulous opening or for a modeling gig. Who really knows but her and her agent. In any case, Ms. Moss – queen of the comeback, came in stylishly in a tuxedo jacket and a ready to light cigarette in tow. This supermodel comes prepared. After a long day at the office (indoor or outdoor), many of us retreat to the confines of home and take trips via our lovely television screen.  It would be nice if more of us read amazing books, as touted by Oprah and librarians alike, but let’s get real – television is one of our favorite indulgences.  With that said, members of the Writers Guild of America are still in the picket lines today.  Many TV viewers may not fully realize what an impact this has caused not only on writers, directors and actors, but also on the entire cast and crew of our TV shows that are affected.  And I, Haydee Vicedo, am writing this and stating this as my opinion and not that of JFX Images/Online.  As a working writer, I know how hard it is to do this job for a living.  Not all members of WGA or SAG (Screen Actors Guild) are highly paid professionals.  Many wait on you in various restaurants or bars, do your bookkeeping, or DJ at your local nightclub before they make it big (if ever).  This is causing a great impact not only in Los Angeles/Hollywood or New York, but our country’s economy as a whole.  Let’s hope that a quick resolution comes forth soon.  After all – before there was a television to let us see our imagination, we had writers who gave us words to go along with our imagination.  Support the writers!

Marcia Cross spent the afternoon shopping sans family at the Westfield Shopping Center in Century City, Ca. Marcia will now have lots of time to shop as the production of Desperate Housewives has now stopped due to the WGA strike. Just a side note, I’m not sure what Marcia was drinking but it sure seemed to do the trick after a while didn’t it? Marcia wasn’t looking too happy when she arrived but after a few swigs, she was all smiles.

Britney Spears and her court appointed monitor drove through a red light tonight. I’m not sure what the situation was that prompted Brit to take the light but with the court appointed monitor and her sons in the car, there must have been a good reason. The court appointed monitor was seen trying to hide her head while Britney attempted to hide behind her cell phone. At least she’s not taking these risks in her new SL65.

For those not familiar with Los Angeles shopping, B.C. stands for the Beverly Center, a very popular shopping hangout for celebs and us regular folks in Los Angeles. Nicole Richie took some time off from her crazy schedule, donned some lovely sunglasses and went for a little shopping trip. Seen wandering around the Mac Store (probably for early Christmas shopping or a baby iPod), she went into a few more shops and then headed to one of the best vegan restaurants in the city, Real Food Daily. Even with four kids at home (or maybe they’re at Toys R Us with Mr. Jolie – kidding), Angelina continued to film her upcoming project, ‘Changeling’ in Pasadena, CA. She’s shown here with the movie’s director and Hollywood legend, Clint Eastwood. The film, which is being released by Universal Pictures, has an insane cast and crew attached to it, namely Brian Grazer, super producer in LaLa-Land, as well as a supporting team to die for (including John Malkovich). Production began yesterday on JJ Abrams Star Trek in a super secret Southern California location. We had to pull some major strings and drop a dime or two to find out where this bad boy was filming. Fortunately, JJ’s got the same M.O. as Cloverfield, which was another b-otch to find. Normally, we wouldn’t bother with these photos as they’re all extras, but according to a Star Trek fanatic friend of mine, all the rabid Star Trek fans will be eager to go to town on these photos. Every extra in Star Trek gear was covering up the goods with a hooded trench coat. Another reason we’re putting these pictures up is because that eagle eyed PA who spotted us posted up would want us to. He sure earned his money today. Britney Spears wasn’t going to let a little thing like her ex-husbands lawyer bill slow her down one bit. Britney splurged on a new White BiTurbo V12 SL65 Mercedes at the Keyes Mercedes dealership in Van Nuys California. Britney also test drove a silver G500 Wagon which probably would have made more sense considering the kids and all but at least she kept the old convertible Mercedes.

Lindsay Lohan was photographed leaving her AA meeting with what appears to be her AA journal. I’ve never been to an AA meeting so I don’t know for sure, but I can’t imagine doodling on the cover of your journal is part of one of the 12 steps to recovery. Of course, we’re all rooting for LiLo.

Lindsay Lohan turn the tables on the paparrazzi yesterday, snapping at them with her digital camera. This isn’t the first time Lindsay’s brought out her own “artillery”, er, camera to showcase her own picture-taking skills. Hmmm, maybe she wants to be a paparrazzi, too. Or maybe, just maybe…she was taking a picture of the scenery? Why assume she’s attacking the photogs at all, right? Unless she had a bat in the other hand. In any case, with that beautiful promise ring on L.Lo’s finger, she’s probably a happy little bee inside. Nick Hogan has been booked on criminal charges for the August 26, 2007 crash which left his friend John Graziano severely injured. Hogan, son of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, was driving his suped up Toyota Supra when he lost control and hit a tree. Graziano, who was not wearing his seat belt, will likely need medical care for the rest of his life.

Eva Longoria made a statement to the press during a break on the set of Desperate Housewives. WGA picketers continued to chant slogans like, ‘Longoria, Longoria, We Write Your Storia!’ Yes, that’s what they were saying. With writing like that, it’s no wonder the studios are trying to screw them. We’ve got video of the interview coming in a bit, so check back. But for now, check out the images of the protesters giving Longoria a hard time on the set.

Longoria also tried to take advantage of the media attention by buying dozens of pizza’s for the picketers. I might be wrong but I think Julia Louis-Dreyfus was hoping for a little something more from Eva, like walking off the set in solidarity with the WGA. I don’t know, judge for yourselves by the last image.

Director Quentin Tarantino and his girlfriend went for a stroll in Beverly Hills yesterday. Looks like Quentin has not gotten over the dismal performance of his Grind House movie that he co-directed with Robert Rodriguez. QT refuses to put that shirt, which stands for Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino Back to Back, to rest. Let it go QT, let it go.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus walked the picket lines with her Writers Guild Brethren outside of the Toluca Lake set of Desperate Housewives today. I’m not sure why she wasn’t picketing outside her own television show… oh wait, yeah I do, because no one cares about her new show. I couldn’t even tell you the name of her new show and I even looked on IMDB! Ever since the end of Seinfeld, Elaine and the other alum have failed to re-capture the old magic. Or maybe Dreyfus is hoping to move into Wysteria Lane next season. Either way, we’ll have video from the protest soon and we’ll get a chance to hear Eva Longoria’s side then.
