Celebrities Flock To DNC

It’s been a while since any politician has captured America’s interest and it’s nowhere more apparent this week than at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. The DNC officially kicks off today, but there was a pre-convention event last night at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Musicians Sheryl Crow, Sugarland and Dave Matthews performed a special show commemorating the beginning of the convention. And the celebs are still descending upon Colorado today. Just some folks spotted arriving at Denver: Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Ben Affleck, Spike Lee, Annette Bening, Susan Sarandon, Kanye West, Anne Hathaway and Ellen Burstyn. Four years ago, Senator Obama delivered the electrifying speech that made him a household name. Tonight, his wife Michelle will be the main speaker, kicking off the convention that will introduce him as the Democratic Presidential nominee. What an interesting four years for him, huh?
