K-Fed Picking Up The Tab?
Um, the jury’s still out on this one. The judge who heard Stacy Phillips (Brit’s new custody attorney) this morning will have think about overturning the ruling that Britney has to pay for Kevin’s legal fees. Phillips highlighted Kevin’s lenient spending and cited examples of such behavior. Both sides made their arguments, but the judge did not make any decisions today. Brit’s legal team is actually just asking that Kevin pay for “some” of his legal fees, which you would think is not too much to ask for. Anyway, the next custody hearing is set for May 6, but there will definitely be more updates regarding this story before then.

Kevin should be held accountable for his legal bills. He really thinks he can spend like a self-made celebrity. Some body wake him up please.

the guy has more legal bills than would be usual because brit is a nut job which calls for a need to have more court appearances and filings. a few months back the court ordered brit to pay much of his legal bills, as it was because of her they were in court more often. he may find this last bill inflated, or maybe not. either way, brit is the reason for so much court time and filings, pay up.

MH, this Kevin has been spending big on jewelry, tips when he eats, and many other things. They are in court because Kevin wanted the lawyers to be there but NOT because Britney wanted the lawyers to be there. Who took Britney to court for more custody? It’s that slimy Kevin but karma is a bitch, he will get his.
Look at the amount of money he has caused Britney to loose in all of this! That’s Sean and Jayden’s college fund gone to waste. What has he prepared to leave his kids? Nothing! Even the ones he has with Shar he changes their upkeep on a credit card he hides as a business expense! He is hiding too much money and if he isn’t careful the next thing we will hear will be that the IRS & FEDS on his ass.
MH, you can not sit there and tell me Kevin is doing this for the good of the kids. Refusing to hand over the kids is not something that should cost the kids their college fund. If he cared about his kids inheritance, he should stop this custody battle now and leave it at 50/50.

I will never be able to make you see the reality of the court situation…so I won’t even try. also…it’s nobodys business what he spends his money on, as long as the children are cared for. 50/50 custody? ROTFL!!! she can’t even take care of her own crap right now… let alone 50/50. the court has people taking care of HER. come back to reality hun.

How about Sean and Jayden’s inheritance that’s at risk? By the time this custody battle with be over, a huge chunk of their inheritance is going to be lost forever!!

once again this court situation is not kevin’s fault… the kids will have plenty of cash. don’t worry, a couple of mil here or there won’t make that big of a difference in brit’s world, hence the kid’s world.

Read on an Britney hostile site that she will need a permanent conservatorship.
Then, longer down the message, you can read that it would be a technical juridic move…and then it emerge that it will be so IF she found not mentally healthy (for long time to come)
And who, I ask WHO now her condition?
Have some doctors send out information to the gossips sites, who not yet are submit to the court?
I get upset when people in comment, who not have anything to do with Britneys treatment or are close to her, start telling other lies on gossip sites. Lies about a future they dont now anything about!
If sombody is so fucking found of Kevin Federline its up to them. But they have no right to forecast anything about the future costody!

MH, a couple or 3 millions is a lot of money to waste around in Britney’s world. You have to remember her estate was once 150 millions, then 125, then 120, then 110, then 100, and now it’s only 40 millions left.
Come one, Brit might have it good but with such expenditures as this custody battle have & will continue to cost, she will run out of money.
Some of us are concerned about Sean & Jayden’s inheritance and college funds more than Kevin is concerned. He seems to be fighting and getting rid of what WILL belong to them.

I forgot to add this. Kevin needs a reminder that his Tarzan house come by Britney’s money. If she had spent that money on some stupid lawyers, there is no way he would have what he has. If he doesn’t care about her money now that he is divorced from her, he should at least care about where his child support comes from.
He probably does not want Britney’s next boyfriend (Adnan) or future husband to enjoy what he enjoyed. He wants the custody lawyers to suck her accounts dry.

Kevin HAD to pursue these custody issues for their children’s well being. If it had turned out that Britney was perfectly fine and did not lose custody, then Kevin would be out of luck with the attorney fees. It’s tricky. If Kevin lost custody would Kaplan’s bill have been so high? It has been reported that Britney makes over $700,000 a month, if this is true, she can certainly afford it. If Kevin lost custody he still may have received some compensation as she was the bread winner and I believe she initiated the divorce. One could argue that he had nerve seeing such a high profile lawyer on his paltry income, but then it wouldn’t be an even playing field.
I view Kevin differently now that I know Britney’s situation.
To say that Kevin is wasting his children’s college money or future boyfriend’s is ignorant.
