Get ready Britney fans because her animated video is debuting tonight. According to People.com, Brit’s latest animated video for “Break The Ice” will be shown tonight at 6:30 pm EST on the website Blackoutball.com. Her record company, Jive Records, has put together an online cocktail party, if you will. You can only get access to the video tonight and you’ll need a couple of passwords from the website to enter the “party”. So, make sure you get all the info you need for tonight and tell us how you liked the video! FYI, I just checked out the website and the chatroom is already full!

Man, this thing just swallowed all the right intentions. I really am rooting for this girl as she had shown in this past year that she has what it takes. If only the people that is now running the show was there when she was promoting her cd, then we would all be in a different state of mind. But this right here is just mind boggling ( I have no clue why I used boggling, I’m boggled myself ).

This attempt was just to feed the appetite but this to me was more hurt than anything. If this was another step, it’s a definate stumble. I think that her fans knows all the drama that in her life at this moment. And they as true fans are wanting and waiting. This right here does not do justice. I’m a big fan of Japanese Anime like Akira, The Ninja Scroll and Ghost In The Shell. They have their places and so does Britney Spears.

It’s a try but in this case and in her case, it’s best to wait. I think everyone has been waiting this long and it don’t hurt to wait just a little longer. In my eyes it has only cheapened all other attempts in the past. I know that her fans can definately hold off. As a matter of fact, every fan of hers must be at a tucked fetal position right about now after seeing this. What ever fear you had as her fan, I’m sure it’s all rushing in by now.

Every single one of her fans hunger for that glimmer of light. That Britney come back thats just waiting to take everyone by storm. That moment is still at work and it might be for a while or maybe never but you know it’s there. Her loyal fans would rather not know what or if anything will happen at all. But they are all waiting. “And I know you would’nt settle for something like this. Has this quenched your thirst?”

I just don’t know. Maybe this is a poor substitute of an artistic metaphor of an acid trip of her life trying to get back to reality and meaning.

For me, as a Britney fan, its no hard time to wait for a video with Britney herself feature in.
The main concern for me is that Britney shall take all the time she want and need to recovery.

Her voice will not disappear, she has the remarkable captivation coming from her, the one who makes people “fall in love” with her.
It will not go away, I´m sure. A person is born with “that” or not.

The animated video will for sure be liked by younger persons round the world, so no harm is done.

  16. Rehema Says:

Mark Twain, the reason the animation was made was because Break The Ice has been playing on radios for months and people wanted to see a video of the song but Britney could not give them one. I think that is justifieble enough to make an animation. I mean Break The Ice would NEVER have gotten a video with all the air play it has on radios. I don’t think the record label was trying to feed an appetite. It was only promoting the song. Atleast people can LISTEN to the song on TV even if it’s an animation. Before the animation, the song had no airplay on TVs and now I see it more than 5 times a day on MTV and VH1. Come on, the CD needs some kind of promotion. How can it sell?? How can they promote it 2 years from now (when Brit’s ready) when it dropped last year?? Britney has set up the album to fail, the record label is setting it to sell. Britney is in wrong and not the record label but we understand that she is not okay, well, we let the record label promote the album then. I’m failing to see what Doc and Mark see wrong.

In all my life I have never come across such a strange situation. Britney is a real big challenge which no record label nor fans have encountered. I hope Adnan keeps up.
