Britney To Perform At VMA’s?
There’s been no news, then news and now this. It’s been rumored that Britney would open the Video Music Awards with a performance. That rumor was shot down. Then it was confirmed that she would indeed open up the awards show BUT would not be performing. Now, MSN has a video of Britney rehearsing a dance routine to what may be a new song. I don’t know for sure if she’s performing, but one things for sure, Brit’s body is kicking and she looks ready.

If she is truly ready then I say go for it. If not wait until she is. I want her to show all the people that were so against her recovery that she can do it and that she can control her life again. This would be a good step in that but only if she is truly ready for it.

Preview: MTV Video Music Awards
Two days left and yet the madness has already begun.

The VMAs are known for being among the crudest, most shocking and (therefore) best award shows out there.
No, the clothes are not as fabulous as the Oscars, and no, the musical performances are not as tasteful as the Grammys, but the beer is always flowing and so is the madness.
This year’s show marks the 25th anniversary of the ceremony so MTV pulled out all the stops to gain some last minute media attention and novelty with a surprisingly star-studded preview event on the Paramount Studios lot the Thursday before the show.
Russell Brand, a known prankster and occasional MTV outcast, hosted the pre-show event in an attempt to kick-up the hype about this year’s performers and gain a bit more exposure before the big night.
It has to be said that if Brand’s performance is anything like it was at the pre-show, we are all in for another year of outrageous moments, questionable morals and unwavering chaos.
To begin with, Brand came out clad in the tightest pair of skinny jeans ever donned by a man and more eyeliner than any woman knowingly sports.

Through all of the smoke and mirrors, we did manage to pull out a few nuggets of truth about the show:
Aguilera will be performing a new rendition of her classic “Genie in a Bottle,”
T.I. will debut his new duet with Rihanna,
Rock will play his “All Summer Long,”
Katy Perry will sing a little ditty called “Like a Virgin” and Britney Spears will open the show.
In later interviews we did manage to pull out a few more secrets from some of the guests of the show;
the man behind 411 Media, Jazze Pha, (http://remixmag.com/artists/JazzyPha.gif) let it slip that he helped Outsiders Media produce the musical number “Womanizer” that Britney Spears is allegedly performing on Sunday.
“Vaughan, he’s a Def Jam artist and my man, he’s got a record called ‘Up and Down’ produced by myself and the Outsiders, brand new producers, they actually produced ‘Womanizer,’ one of the songs that Britney will be doing on the show—the only song she will be doing,” Pha said.

Yes thats Serg and he is one of the JFX men. I think AM is correct and he is one of the two founders of JFX. I was trying to figure out who back that is. I bet if he turns around we might recongnize him also.

Ama, I don’t know what to believe but I hope she will perform. It would be the “talk of the town” even more than it already is. I’m happy for her. She’s worked so hard and there is a lot riding on her shoulders.
And Ama? Having listened to MT and a few others, and being analytical, “they” are out to get Adnan and keep Brit in C-Ship or other control? I don’t know what the motive is other than to create a sensation before September 16th. Britney’s appearance tonight means much. The Other Side is losing power through the very tactics they were using: Appearance, images, stories.
I never thought I would say this (I knew nothing about this girl) but I admire Britney Spears and I respect her hard work that got her to tonight.
Others may have helped her, but she’s the one who sweated through workouts, practice-practiced, and so on. Tonight is her night. Hopefully one of many “her nights’ if that is what she desires.
