Womanizer is out. What do you think? On first listening, I’m digging the chorus and my foot begain bouncing to the beat involuntarilly. I’ve listened a few times now and I am liking what I hear more and more.

I LOVE it!! Its edgy and deeper and a brilliant dance tune like the Blackout album, rather than her earlier stuff (apart from Toxic) VERY GOOD!!!

Britney Spears’ “Womanizer,” the first single from her upcoming Circus, finally hit radio stations this morning before getting uploaded onto YouTube, as evidenced by the video above. The song, with its dark synths and propulsive backbeat, was produced by Atlanta crew the Outsyders. Spears reportedly shot a video for “Womanizer” yesterday at a Los Angeles sushi restaurant, with Brit playing the role of a “vampy waitress.” In the meantime, “Womanizer” will make its television debut this Monday on a new episode of MTV’s The Hills. I go to the Mannequin rehearse vid. I LOVE it. I love to sing the words that I know, I love to move, I love to see the dance steps because I know what some of them feel like.

Query in general. I have no experience waiting for a “much anticipated single” or album.
What are your thoughts on KISSFM having an exclusive, yet the station managers retain the right to play, or not play the music?
It seems arbitrary, but it affects the artist’s ratings?
How will station managers know if it’s in the interest of their audience, not to play it, if they don’t play it at least once?
KISSFM is KISSFM right, regional differences aside.

It’s hard for me to tell how much I like either Mannequin or Womanizer listening to these low-quality leaks. To me, the true test is how it sounds pounding on my car speakers.

I’m a little leery of the involvement of Larry and the gang on this record. It’s true that they helped make Britney the star that she is, but I was never really a huge fan of Brit’s music until Blackout. I liked a few of her singles, but I never purchased any of her full albums.
I could be wrong, but I believe that Blackout was released with little participation from Larry and Jive. Brit took an Executive Producer credit, and more or less pushed the album to be released before they could have much say. And the result?
Blackout (2007):
Rolling Stone gave the album 3.5 out of 5 stars. Allmusic also rated the album 3.5 out of 5 stars, calling Blackout “coherent and entertaining” and stating that “it holds together better than any of her other records”. (Wiki)
vs.
In the Zone (2003):
The album had a mild reception from critics. Stylus Magazine gave the album a D and even blamed Spears’s career choices by stating, “Ultimately, In the Zone suffers greatly from Britney’s uneasy transition from teen tart to sexually powerful woman. Had Britney been in charge of her career direction instead of mercilessly prostituted by her management, she might have been able to produce something with some semblance of musical vision.” (Wiki)
I also question how she can be releasing an album right now while still under conservatorship…but maybe that’s just me…
I’m certainly looking forward to Circus so I can compare. ‘Cause I agree with the critics - Blackout was pretty darn good!

I guess what I’m saying is…I hope they don’t steam-roller her on this one. I think she has way more talent and vision than what people give her credit for.
She needs to be allowed to be herself, not what her management or her fans want her to be.

I think its hard to have a opinion about a record who still not are on the market.
Also think Britney really like what she´s doing right now, but people just refuse to belive it. They must make up some bad feelings..

I can’t say I am informed as to the creation and release of Blackout, just that I like it?
I hope for happy things in NY. It was wonderful to see Britney going out to dinner with her kids.
The more successful she is, the more uncouth and driven the comments. I was thinking about it last night. It’s like each success symbolizes her pulling away from the grasps of control freaks. I’ll never understand their mentality.
I thought we left all of that in high school but here it is playing out in the adult world. It’s bizarre.

All, X17 has what appear to be new personal photos of Britney, without makeup, again.
Is there a pattern between when the photos surface, and when the Adnan sex tape stories are circulated? I hadn’t been paying much attention to the personal photos in context to the calendar or other news circulating. I wonder why they came out today, when there appears to be another positive accolade in Britney’s life.
No need to be coy that we get information from a number of sources. No apology from me for posting on other websites, and I know I am not alone.
Anyone notice that the sex tape lie always come from England, where the “defendants” so to speak can’t sue? I wonder who else Sam text messages these days.

Reps from the divorcing couple tell us that both Britney and Kevin want to put an end to rumors that K-Fed is out peddling a sex tape for some quick cash. They have agreed to jointly issue a statement, hoping to put an end to the flurry of stories that such a tape exists.
[UPDATE 1:30PM ET] — Attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan later released a statement that said in part, “There is not a sex video of Kevin and Britney in existence. If you Google her name you’ll see she’s worked on quite a few high profile cases in Hollywood. She’d be the type of person someone like Ms. Locklear would contact in times of need.

The story is running elsewhere …just not as prominent as previous sensational headlines. No one is siting the source of the story.
And isn’t it ironic, that Alli has popped up again, in the same places as the other item. There’s an example at entertainment.com It seems a copy/paste of an old story, with an update, “It was recently reportedly that Alli was making the most of her Brit connection to help her sell of a load of gear she acquired during her time as the singer’s assistant.”

You ladies were busy late yesterday and I missed all the fun.
I hope he does decide to try to put a stop to the madness. Not sure how the courts work in the UK but hiring attorneys there should help some. I’ve noticed that some are now backing off the story including TMZ. Since our guy is/was one of them he knows how this all works and hopefully what to do about it.
I agree with AM on Kaplan and Grossman. To me it looks like Kaplan and others may have been in charge during all of the happenings. Sam was a person that did what he was told. I think that Kaplan or someone told Sam to keep her drugged or whatever while Kaplan stripped her of the kids for K-fed. I do not think that K-fed masterminded that but the attorneys did. I do think that part of K-feds weight gain is being bored at home and not having a real job and being a man. I do think that he is not real happy with the way she was brought down and how the media portrayed her and him in the media. I do think that K-fed wanted a way to have the kids so that he money gravytrain would not wear out and he would have her money until the kids are grown but did not realize how far the attorneys would go to do that.

Sands says he talks to a friend of 15 years. It’s someone he trusts. Sands seems surprised his friend know Lutfi?
This friend told him, that he told Sam, “If anyone could clean up the image of Sam Lufti, it’s Michael Sands.”
He says, “You’ve been working opposite ends of this case and I wanted to bring you together. We want you to save Britney Spears.”

Ama I think K-fed started the circus by wanting his kids. That was just out of spite and her not wanting him to have 50/50 when they divorced. That was a sticking point during the divorce. They finally settled the divorce by him giving in but then he and Kaplan started again trying to get the kids 50/50 and she was not having it. Thats when Sam entered the picture and it all went downhill from there. I think it got way out of hand from what the original intent was with K-fed. He wanted the kids but I do not think he signed up for everything that happened. Once Sam was out of the picture and Dad was in control K-fed gave in quickly and let her see the kids and then let her have more time with them but in the end the kids live with him. He is paid child support and not him paying the support. That was what he wanted in the first place. That way he does not have to work but has her money coming in each month. No one counted on A coming to the rescue. No one counted on him helping to turn it all around and help the parents get rid of Sam. Who would have thought that one of the men that chased her would have been the knight in shining armor and would be the one to take up for her. One thing that Sam did not count on was people coming to her rescue when she and Sam had the fight and she made sure the paps were able to film it. Thats when the world knew what a monster Sam really was and how jealous he was of A. Sam thought he had most of the paps in his pocket and they would do as he said but he found out that some did not do what he wanted and some actually did want her to get better.

When you have representation, alot of things are not in your immediate control. Your attorney can compel you to limit conversations with others, about your case. They can get you to modify your behavior.

Not sure Ama but you could be right. I do remember that K did not go anywhere it seemed unless Kaplan was with him. We did not see him at clubs at all during that time. It seemed like he was on a tight leash and Kaplan was holding the leash. The couple times I remember seeing him out it was a photo op and Kaplan was there also. The bodyguard and nanny was seen with the kids but that was all. K-fed was on house arrest it seemed and could not leave without Kaplan

That is an interesting thought. He could have put that with the others that he was giving her and she would not have known the difference. But remember Sam was probably following orders from whoever was giving them. Sam was vile but who was giving the orders? Kaplan? Someone else?
Sam did not want Lynn or Jamie back in the picture because he knew what would happen. A parents love is strong. Even when the kids get out of hand we will defend our kids to everyone.

In terms of Britney’s access to her boys…
She’s still under conservatorship, and if I’m not mistaken, has been labeled by the courts as “gravely disabled.” Until the conservatorship is lifted, she likely CAN’T have the terms of her custody agreement fully changed, even if Kevin wanted it. At this point, it’s not up to Kevin to decide. It’s up to the court.
Her best bet, I would think, is to have the conservatorship lifted, and then things would start to fall into place for her from there.

Ama, please reply to my question about the night at Kitson’s and a Morning After Pill. I do not like what you suggested (not that I don’t like you, I’m just thinking about what you suggested and it makes me VERY uncomfortable — the idea is very disturbing but I wouldn’t put it past Sam). If use of a morning after pill was given to Britney without her knowledge…I think that would set a new precedent for what constitutes murder in the womb.
Meanwhile. Ama, your experience and my experience with attorneys differ. I got what I could afford in an attorney for a misdemeanor charge. I had never been in trouble with the law. She told me not to make any calls but I made at least one. It was the one that she should have made on my behalf. The place where I got the misdemeanor had a history.

There is an old video showing on BH with Brit having a camera in her hand. The article is talking about Brit filming her friends in NY. The old video has A in there filming her. Looks like he was able to get inside this place and had the best advantage to film her even way back then. Sure was good to see him in action again even if it is an old video.

It’s neither here nor there, but when some major shyt was going down for Lindsay in July 2007, Michael Sands was a “spokesperson” or consultant for Bowline Entertainment.
Lindsay had what sounded like a good role in “Dare to Love Me.” Sands just said that he was insured.
Hollywood must be tiny.
I haven’t found anything too interesting on Sands. Big deal, he’s a member of AA, sponsored Lazenby — they’ve been friends for 26 years.
There’s still the matter of the ridiculous comments he made when Gary DeVore was gone missing.

I only think for myself that he and this “I think I´m really are James Bond” man, living in the same world of dangerous fantasy as Sam Lutfi and peopel who live a life on the borderline.
They have sure a lot of friends who find them “funny” and maybe some also believe them being former “Intelligence” buddies and so on.
I have found that this kind of people can do a lot of harm..becuase there is always people higher up who use them and their brilliant “wordsmithism”.
Its like beeing fenomenal in telling jokes or talking backwards.
