Here’s Captain Pike

Bruce Greenwood is definitely one of those actors you’d see in public and recognize, wondering where the heck you know him from. Well, by this time next year I’m sure Bruce’s face will not only be more familiar, but his name will be, too. The Canadian actor is set to play Captain Christopher Pike in the upcoming (and highly anticipated) Star Trek movie. The J.J. Abrams film is going to chronicle the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members and I’m sure all the trekkies out there can’t wait until next May when the movie’s released. Our photogs spotted Bruce hanging out in Larchmont Village yesterday and I think he was a bit surprised that he was being photographed. Well, get used to it, Bruce. Star Trek will be getting a lot more buzz as the release date nears, so just enjoy it and smile.
