Pap 101: Bedtime Stories

Adam Going Hog Wild

Our photogs were on location at the Bedtime Stories set today in Los Angeles. Adam Sandler and Keri Russell donned Christmas-motif helmets during their bike scene. Seems fitting since the movie is set to open Christmas day. Adam took part in raising money for autism a couple of weeks ago. He joined comedians Chris Rock and Ben Stiller in a special show at the Beacon Theater in NYC. Keri, meanwhile, recently told a publication that acting was like going to summer camp because she’s learned something new for each role she’s taken on. And what could Keri be learning from filming with Adam Sandler, I wonder. Well, she’s probably learning that too much laughing hurts your tummy. I’m sure filming with the comedian has its many funny moments.
Motorcycle Diaries

You would think they could’ve picked better looking helmets than these for the stars of Bedtime Stories, but I guess the wardrobe department didn’t have enough in the budget for better ones. Keri Russell actually doesn’t look so bad, but Adam Sandler looks like he just stepped off the short bus. And I’m going to apolgoize in advance if you used to ride the short bus as a kid. Seriously, the helmets look like they were made out of old bowling bowls. But I digress. Our photogs were at the set of Bedtime Stories again yesterday and took these motorcycle scene pics. Keri really looks like she’s having a grand old time filming this movie. I’m sure with Adam on board, there’s tons of laughter on the set. Can you guess which one is the actor and which one is the movie producer? Yes, I know you’re thinking this game’s too easy - duh, Adam Sandler’s an actor. Well, it’s actually a trick question because Adam is both acting in and producing Bedtime Stories. On to the next question. How long do you think it took Adam Sandler to get ready this morning? Well, compared to his dapper co-star, Guy Pearce, I would say he slept on those clothes, woke up this morning, checked if he had any pit action going (he had none), and just came straight to the set. If the old adage was true that clothes make the man, then Adam would probably be a truck driver taking a cigarette break at the local AM/PM. Nothing wrong with those $1 AM/PM rib sandwiches, I tell ya. Luckily for his fans, Adam took up acting instead of going to Debbie Dootson’s School of Trucking. If he changes his mind, though, Debbie’s ready for him.

I have more pictures of Adam Sandler at the set of Bedtime Stories. Filming a movie usually constitutes for a very long day, so you can see the different things Adam did throughout the day. It looks like he had a bit of family time while he was on set. His daughter, Sadie Madison, was at the set to hang out with her daddy. I’m sure hanging out with her and a quick game of fooftball helps Adam relax a bit. Filming has gone without incident since Allen Covert was arrested a couple of days ago. I’m sure a little arrest is not going to stop filming for a big-budget movie like this. Check out the other pics of Adam below.
