Happy Birthday Bronx!

Bronx Mowgli Wentz turns one today, and proud parents Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz couldn’t be more thrilled! Yesterday, mom Ashlee told US Weekly, “BX’s 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life.”
Auntie Jessica Twittered this morning, “Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth. Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can’t believe it has been a year already.” Dad Pete added, “Happy birthday bx. you dont have twitter and cant read this. Thanks to all my friends that recorded lullabies. cant believe its been a year.” Have a great day, little guy! Wonder if any other celeb tots will help him celebrate?

That’s a big truck for such a little guy! Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson Wentz stopped by a CVS store to buy a toy construction truck for son Bronx in Sherman Oaks, CA. Ashlee’s new dark locks almost match her hubby’s.

Samantha Gives Ashlee A Thumbs-Up

The last few weeks haven’t been too easy for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, being fired from her first major acting job on “Melrose Place.” But Ash is bouncing back big time, preparing for her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in “Chicago.” She has a supporter in her predecessor, Samantha Harris of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Harris gushed to E! over Ashlee’s taking over the role. “Ashlee is adorable and talented. She can bring in a younger audience, plus has some international appeal.” Sounds good, but will Ash have better luck on the Great White Way than she did on network TV?

Is Ashlee Headed For A Breakdown?

It’s no surprise that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz isn’t happy about being booted off “Melrose Place,” but the singer/actress has other problems to worry about. The National Enquirer claims Ashlee is on the verge of a nervous breakdown!
On the axing from “Melrose,” a source told the Enquirer, “Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed. She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her.” But that’s not all. The source added, “She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good…She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she’s worried that she’s failing.”
In addition to her career woes, Ashlee and rocker husband Pete Wentz are having marriage problems. Pete was out partying when Ashlee got the bad news about “Melrose,” and has been less than supportive of her career. Maybe it’s time for Ashlee to take some time off and just be a full-time mom to little Bronx.
