The Hills Don’t Like ‘The Hills’

It seems The Hills crew is pissing off some of their neighbors in the Hollywood Hills. Access Hollywood is reporting that residents of the neighborhood where Lauren, Lo and Audrina moved into last season are not too happy about their presence and the attention they are attracting. These neighbors are particularly annoyed with paparazzi presence and the MTV film crew taking up all their parking spaces. Neighborhood sources told Access Hollywood that “MTV has turned the residence into a commercial sound stage for the purpose of filming the show.” MTV, meanwhile, maintains that they are “in accordance with all required production permits, and is working with the city of Los Angeles to assist it with neighborhood concerns that have been raised.” Lauren, whose name the house is under, is also reportedly upset by the situation and has hired extra security outside her house. Neighbors are complaining, however, that the three ladies don’t even live in the house full-time and are only there for filming and/or paparazzi photo-ops. The complaints have also been taken to the City Council. How about moving everyone back to Orange County? They can hang out with the Real Housewives of O.C. or something. Yes, I think that would really work well for all of us L.A. folks.

So what’s up with our favorite feuding buds, LC and Audrina? Well, Usmagazine.com talked to Stephanie Pratt at the Crown Bar last night and she had this to say: “I don’t think everything is OK. But I’m sure they will work it out — they have been best friends for so long.” For so long? Didn’t these two just meet each other two years ago? Despite what Stephanie said, Lauren and Audrina were also at Crown Bar last night for Pinkisthenewblog.com’s launch party, where Samantha Ronson was dj’ing…so I wonder if LiLo was there. But I digress. Back to Aud and LC. Yes, they hit up Crown Bar last night with Stephanie and the trio were seen holding hands. They were holding hands because they were all drunk. They needed to support each other. And you know what, just as long as they didn’t drive home, I’m cool with that. What LC and Audrina needed were a few lemon drops and cosmos to get them in friendship mode again. Yes, it’s liquor make-up, but it’s a start. I’m sure the two will be sharing purses again soon.

And the tension continues. The hills aren’t alive today with the sound of music, folks. Instead, there seems to be a lot of meowing going on. Roommates and Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge got into a heated argument last week, according to TMZ. Audrina apparently scheduled a photo shoot with a weekly mag in their shared house in the Hollywood Hills, and LC lost it. Witnesses said that LC threw a hissy fit and got upset because she’d promised exclusives of their backyard to another magazine. An exclusive of their backyard? Didn’t we already see the backyard last season? Anyway, I guess Audrina did get permission to shoot in the backyard from Lauren’s people (I guess they have people scheduling their backyard appointments), but Lauren forgot. I’m expecting a huge fight next season on The Hills. They’re so just setting all of us up. Can’t wait!
Audrina And The Girls

Our photogs caught up with The Hills star Audrina Patridge yesterday shopping at DCMA on Melrose with her buds. The group also passed by The Village Idiot for some grub. Yes, I know it would be way too easy to use that last sentence for some sort of joke, but I’m blogging about Audrina here and not Heidi. Audrina’s actually my favorite Hills character. You can totally tell Lauren and Lo talk about Audrina behind her back, but Audrina’s way too nice to say anything to them. Ugh. But check out Ms. Audrina. It looks like she’s either wearing a really tight shirt or her bosoms have somehow blossomed. I can’t call it. All I know is her hills are looking bigger, that’s all. Why don’t y’all check the other pics out and let me know if I’m just seeing things.
Shopping With Audrina

Our photogs found one of the leading ladies from The Hills shopping in West Hollywood yesterday. Audrina stopped by Fred Segal and Maxfield Bleu for some retail action. I don’t see her tattoo, do you? Obviously it was a faker, unless I’m going blind. I think it was on her left arm and as you can see from the pic below, there is no tattoo to be seen. Audrina has been getting more attention after her nudie photos were leaked. Being a celebrity is definitely different nowadays. But we like Audrina - she seems like the genuinely nicest one in the Hills bunch. And she smiles for the photogs! Check her pics out below.
