Violet must be such a joy for her family—she always looks so happy and precious. Jennifer’s certainly getting back into shape quickly after the birth of baby Serafina last month.

With a little assist from the Santa Monica P.D., Ben Affleck picked up his precious little Violet from school yesterday. Then the two joined mom Jennifer Garner for a family dinner at Blue Plate restaurant on Montana Ave. in Santa Monica. Baby Seraphina Rose stayed home with her nanny.

Ben Would Camp Out For Obama

Outspoken activist Ben Affleck would do most anything to make the inauguration of Barack Obama on Tuesday. At his Feeding America hunger rally today in Washington, D.C., he told Usmagazine.com:
“I’m going to camp out. I’ll bring a tent — and a heater!”
Affleck has worked to aid the needy in the Congo and has high hopes for help in this area from the new president.
“I’m hoping he’ll pay a good amount of attention to Africa, I’m very optimistic that it’ll be a higher priority than it was in the Bush administration.
As a filmmaker, I hope to continue to make movies and documentaries about this, and I hope people will watch them and become more aware and passionate about it themselves.”
