Update: D-List Fistfight Breaks Out At Hollywood Club

Update: Now this is getting interesting! The cloud of he-said, she-said is finally starting to thin out and details of the altercation that took place earlier this week are starting to emerge. It appears that Joe Francis is actually the victim and not just those drunk college girls who strip on camera for Girls Gone Wild DVD’s after all! OK, that was a cheap shot but c’mon, I spent the last five minutes coming up with that so give me some slack. But as much as I can care about younger, richer and better looking philanderers, what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong. So shame on you Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole for dragging the good name of Joe Francis through the mud. As it turns out, eyewitness accounts and security footage tell a different story from Brody and Jayde’s story. Witnesses say that it was Jayde who through the drink into Francis’ face, blurring his vision and causing Francis to get tangled in Jayde’s hair. Jayde had reported that Francis had punched and kicked her her to the ground after Francis was rebuffed by one of Jayde’s friend. But what it really comes down to is the advice my dear ol’ Grand Pappy once gave me. He gave me three rules to live by; 1. never trust a woman who takes off her clothes for money; 2. never trust a woman with two first names and; 3. never trust a woman who says you can trust her. I rest my case.
When three D-List celebs get into a fight, who are you suppose to root for? The answer is this case is, none of them.
There was an altercation last night at WeHo hotspot Guys and Dolls that sprawled out into the parking lot, and there are numerous conflicting stories about what really happened. The version appearing on RadarOnline says Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole took offense when “Girls Gone Wild” creep Joe Francis was harassing a female friend of hers, and threw a drink at him. Witnesses allege Francis punched and kicked the model, a charge he denies.
Then Nicole’s BF, reality show hunk Brody Jenner, came to his lady’s aid, which got both guys kicked out of the club. Today, everyone involved is telling the press a different story. On the bright side, they’re all getting their names in the media.

L.A. Laker fan Brody Jenner and his girlfriend Jayde Nicole showed their allegiance by picking up some Laker flags at a CVS store in Malibu. Those balloons were for Brody’s mom Linda’s birthday over the weekend.

Brody Pays His Tabs

The Hills’ Brody Jenner would like you to know that he pays his own bills and that he’s not an alcoholic. Brody was at the X Games Celebrity Skins Classics on Tuesday in Palos Verdes, CA when he spoke to Fox News’ Pop Tarts to clear up a recent Star Magazine article stating that the reality star is financially supported by his parents and has drinking issues. “One of the biggest misconceptions people have of me is that I’m supported by my parents. I want to say that I totally make all my own money and pay all my own bills and have done some for the past six years,” the 24-year old insisted. He also addressed the partying (which leads to drinking) issue: “Some people think all I do is party and that’s how I get paid. Well, no – I’m 24, and of course I like to have a good time, but I have a life and a work schedule. I do happen to work hard during the day, but people don’t see that.” The Hills returns to MTV on August 18 for their fourth season. We can all watch Brody work then.

Brody’s New Show

Not happy with just being a sporadic co-star on The Hills, Brody Jenner went and got himself his own MTV reality show. Hold your applause, please. Brody will be the star of Bromance, in which “regular” guys from around the country compete to be his new BFF. Yes, it’s just like Paris Hilton’s upcoming reality show where she’s also in search of a new BFF. Bromance will have the regular guys living with each other and competing in a bunch of elimination games and activities. Contestants will be tossed out in a “Hot Tub elimination ceremony”, according to Usmagazine.com. The winner at the end of the season gets to enter Brody’s inner circle. Yes, that’s the prize. Well, now that Whitney and Brody finagled their own shows, wonder which Hills star is next on the list.

With reports that ratings for The Hills are down, it’s probably a good idea that its stars are finding other job offers. Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner were spotted yesterday filming an AT&T commercial in Los Angeles. Good for them and their booking agents. Audrina’s filming a movie in Hawaii, so she’s got her manager working for his/her money. Speaking of Audrina, she just celebrated her birthday in Vegas without LC. I guess they’re still having drama, although they’re denying it. Word is the two still live together in their Hollywood Hills home with Lo. Of course they still live together. Duh. There wouldn’t be a show without all the house drama. There’s no way MTV would let Audrina move out. But enough about Audrina. Check out more pics of Brody and Lauren from their commercial shoot below. The make-up artist did a really good job of picking a foundation color for Brody. His face looks immaculate.
