‘Dancing With The Stars’ champion Helio Castroneves has been indicted for ‘Conspiracy to Defraud the U.S. and Tax Evasion’ in Miami. Heilo, along with two others, are accused of stashing away Helio’s income in an offshore Panamanian shell corporation. Helio is facing some serious time here as the charges are punishable by a maximum of 5 years in federal prison. Before winning DWTS, Helio was best known as a race car driver driving for Team Penske.

Hey Everyone! Do you get the TV Guide Network? If so, be sure to check out Britney: Breakdown, a special they’ll be airing all weekend. Why? Because JFX’s own photographer Ulises Rios will be talking to Patrick Stinson about what really went down with Britney’s breakdown and her love/hate relationship with the paparazzi. And Angelina Jolie won’t be the only celebrity not showing up to the Golden Globes this year. The awards show, which is airing on January 13, will have to do without a few of its bright stars on the special day. The Screen Actors Guild announced that its membership will show support to the striking union writers and will boycott the show. Some of the biggest names nominated including Jolie, George Clooney and Keira Knightley are all SAG members. Unfortunately the writers strike continues and this is just one of the negative effects. It will definitely be a strange red carpet scene on January 13, unless some miraculous event gives way to an end to the strike before the show.

Didn’t we tell you they were coming to Los Angeles? Happy times for all Sex and the City fans here in L.A., as the cast and crew have arrived to film in our beautiful city. Sarah Jessica Parker and company were on location in Malibu yesterday, looking bundled up and gorgeous on a chilly winter day near the beaches. We have pictures of Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, but didn’t catch a glimpse of Kristin Davis. Hmm, maybe Charlotte is coming in later with Harry. Yes, if you’ve never watched the show then that last sentence probably doesn’t make sense to you. And if you’ve never watched the show…well why not? Sex and the City was like Monday Night Football to a lot of women (and men). We would gather in groups to watch Carrie and Big going back and forth with their relationship, or laugh like hyenas when Samantha scored another man on her belt. Plus, the show really had great fashion to look at. It was heaven. So it is definitely a big deal, this movie, for many fans who still miss the series. The Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning and we have a list of the main categories for you. Angelina Jolie received a best actress nomination for her role as Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart, and was joined by other actresses including Keira Knightley and Jodie Foster. Hip hip hooray - we could say for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. The expectant couple started the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation just last month to help needy mothers-to-be and they already made their first gift on Monday at a surprise baby shower and press conference at the Los Angeles Free Clinic. At least 100 expectant moms received care packages that included everything from cribs and strollers to clothes (from Baby Bjorn) and toys (from Fischer Price). They gave away over $200,000 worth of goodies to the surprised and happy women. Okay, I’m starting to sense that doing good deeds when one is involved in “couple-dom” actually adds to the relationship. That’s just a guess, but look at Angie and Brad. She’s out saving the rest of the world and he’s building homes in New Orleans. Hopefully this is just a baby step for Nicole and Joel. Either way, good job Richie-Madden. This isn’t exactly the press clipping Lindsay is going to frame and give to her ma and pa for Christmas, but hey, we have to report it. Daily News put out a list of the 50 dumbest people in Hollywood and our lovely LiLo tops the list. Oh, picking on the youngin’! They put out the list as a response to Entertainment Weekly’s list of 50 smartest people in Hollywood. These darn countdowns! This just means that it’s the end of the year and you know how everyone and their mamas are going to have a countdown of some sorts, so I guess this is one of the early ones. Daily News gave reasons as to why they put specific folks on the list, and they’re actually quite comical. After the Friday rainfall, it was a beautiful weekend in Southern California. Paris Hilton, the consummate trooper and great California citizen, decided to add to our economy and went shopping yesterday in Brentwood. She visited Pets of Bel Air and Sydney Michelle, amid much fanfare. Okay, I’m sure folks were interested in what she was buying. She did bring her cute little munchkin of a dog with her and probably made sure all the tiny dog sweaters fit just right. And with the number of pretty pink bags from Sydney Michelle snug in her hands, we’re sure she had a dandy of a time picking up trinkets there. I’m really diggin’ Paris in her current hairstyle. It just makes her look much more chic. Alas, more pics of Ms. Hilton are available for your view pleasure.

Ok, so Amanda Brooks isn’t nude but she’s as natural as you’re ever going to see her. Amanda showed off her dressed down natural beauty and her love of 18th Century German poets while shopping on Robertson yesterday. I’ve got to admit, I don’t know too much about this girl but I think I’m in love. 18th Century German poetry, sweats and cross-trainers is the short-cut to my heart.

Vanessa Hudgens received some next level security yesterday by the Westfield Mall’s best. Mall security went ape over Vanessa for some reason, doing their best to keep the paparrazzi from getting a shot. Look at the guy in the last picture, the guy wearing the suit, he’s got a security badge on his belt, that should mean he’s a little smarter than the other guys in white shirts. Doesn’t this seem like a waste of security allocations? I’d hate to see someone lose their job over this, but this guys should lose his job!

We caught up with Lindsay and gal pal Samantha Ronson as they exited an undisclosed Beverly Hills home last night. As is always the case, Samantha was carrying a large promo poster of LiLo’s movie, Herbie: Fully Loaded, except it’s in Japanese. She strategically placed it in front of her, as to announce that she support her friend’s movies in the Japanese market, even when they’re already on DVD. That, ladies and gents, is a true friend. So, for Christmas (or whatever your family celebrates during the holidays), I suggest you make large posters of a favorite picture of yourself and give them out to your loved ones. When you hang out with said loved ones, they too can do what Samantha is doing for Lindsay, and hold your poster up with pride. Our favorite rock ‘n roll family, the Osbournes, are having an estate sale. For those wondering what an estate sale is, it’s basically a garage sale for rich people. They get auctioneers involved and stuff like that. There’s a public exhibition today, but there’s also a live webcast of the auction Friday and Saturday on www.auctionnetwork.com. Proceeds from the estate sale will go to the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, which rocks. Check out the auction and maybe you’ll get lucky with some matching towels or one of Jack’s old pipes. Ha – we’re kidding. The auction’s for a good cause, so it definitely is worth a look over. Hope they make lots of money for the cancer program! And damn it, I miss the Osbournes on TV!

Forget turkey soup and mashed potato snack cakes from Thanskgiving leftovers for Jennifer Love Hewitt, coz’ homegirl got an engagement ring instead. The Ghost Whisperer star got a special antique ring from her boyfriend of two years, Ross McCall. Remember Jennifer when she was in Party of Five? She was supposed to be a guest star on the show and she practically took over the damn series. Besides her CBS show, she’s been pretty low-key on the tabloid scene, which has probably been good for her relationship. I wonder if she’s going to wear a Hanes bra under her wedding dress. The questions we ponder upon. Alas, congrats to J. Love and Ross!

One of our favorite pregnant celebs, Christina Aguilera, is gracing the cover of Marie Claire for its January 2008 issue. The magazine will be available in newstands on December 11 and Xtina looks quite fetching on the cover (with just a leather jacket creatively covering her being). She also apparently opens up about being preggy and when the baby was probably concieved. Just from the tiny excerpts I’ve read from the issue, it looks to be a very intimate conversation with the singer. Christina is said to be due in early 2008 and no one doubts that she’ll be singing tons of lullabies to her newborn. Check your newstands for the new issue.

I’m not the type to say I told you so, or to even brag about my great psychic abilities, but I’ll do it this one time. As predicted by yours truly yesterday, Helio Castroneves (and Indy 500 star) won the Dancing With The Stars title. Wow! Helio and all his glory will probably be joining the DWTS tour soon, if he’s not busy driving and all that. He’ll also probably get a fat cell phone company endorsement from his namesake (this is not actually confirmed, but it would be nice wouldn’t it?). As for the losers, er, the runner-ups – we believe that Marie Osmond and Mel B. will be just fine. Marie’s career got reignited with her appearance on DWTS and Mel B. is getting ready to tour with her Spice Girls buddies. Yep, they’ll be fine. So, congrats to our man Helio. And on a side note ladies, Helio just broke off his engagement with his fiancee. We’re sorry to hear that, but hopefully the DWTS trophy can keep him warm at night.

We have more pictures of Britney Spears’ video shoot for ‘Piece of Me’ last night at Social in Hollywood. The set, complete with their very own fake paparazzos (check out the creepy baldy in one of the pics) and many wandering Britney doubles, stayed busy until the wee hours of the morn. You can check out Brit finally leaving the set at sunrise today with her right hand man, Sam, who also looked quite exhausted. Maybe he became an impromptu back-up dancer for the video and his legs are tired. Hopefully they stopped at Starbucks or something for some java. This is Britney’s second single and video from her new album and fans are eagerly awaiting its release. Just from the song title alone, it seems that Ms. Brit is getting tired of folks taking from her, and is asking either her friends/foes/ex husbands if they want any more pieces of her. And damn it, she’s only one person! How much more can she give you all?!?! Okay, that was a Dr. Phil moment. Back to our regular program, or more pics of Brit right after this.

The old 007, Pierce Brosnan, has been cleared of any charges by Los Angeles County prosecutors. He allegedly sucker punched a photographer last month in Malibu. Let me guess, the prosecutors have big James Bond fantasies and they really love Pierce’s dapper accent. How could they possibly charge someone with an English accent (okay, he’s actually Irish, but we bet you didn’t know that). Ah, to be a celebrity. One can get away with so much. Keep in mind ladies and gents that this is a battery charge he was going to have to face. That’s pretty serious stuff. And Pierce not being charged by the prosecutors mean that they took his word over the punched photog. I say he at least call the dude and apologize for bopping him in the head, and then maybe buy him a drink (martinis prefered, of course). Just an idea.

It’s down to three (probably very exhausted) celebrities competing for the crown in the popular ABC series Dancing With The Stars. Spice Girls alum Mel B, Marie Osmond and Helio Castroneves are the remaining “contestants” in what has become a suspense-filled season. News of Marie Osmond fainting in one of the episodes was talked about in many a water cooler across the U.S., and she’s become the favorite to win the competition. Scary Spice is quite the contender, too, so let’s not count her out. Actually, why don’t they just give it to Helio? He seems like a nice man, can drive really fast and will probably enjoy being in the company of Emmett Smith and Drew Lachey. Plus, his name’s Helio – that already sounds like a winner. Just a thought. The finale is tonight if you’re in the mood for dancing stars, so check your local listings. 

While Lindsay was out yesterday grabbing her morning cup 0′ Joe, her friend, who was parked in the red zone, was getting a ticket from the ever attentive and always present parking enforcement officers. As you can see from the video, Lindsay wasn’t too happy about it either. The only good thing I can say is that at least it wasn’t a handicapped spot.

We caught up with Lindsay Lohan as she left her Santa Monica condo with luggage in tow. She then headed out to grab her daily coffee fix at the local Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, then drove out to the Marmalade Cafe in Malibu (for a nice hot lunch?). Word from our photogs is that she then headed out to another property she owned. Maybe it’s closer to where she does her community service. At least Linds is out and about enjoying our sunny California winter day and is not getting into trouble.
