Not So Happy New Year For Charlize And Beau

A Mexican holiday turned out to be less than romantic for Charlize Theron and longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend. The UK Daily Mail reports that the actress spent most of her time at the luxe Casa de Miel hotel in Tulum, Mexico, in a bad mood and sniping at hotel employees. A source who observed the couple at the hotel’s pool stated, “She kicked off a few times and Stuart took the brunt of it all and didn’t look very happy.”
The story also says the couple were rarely seen together, with Stuart moping alone on the beach while Charlize occupied her time with power yoga classes and playing golf. Does this mean another famous couple is headed for splitsville?

Nicole To Play Charlize’s Transsexual Lover

Nicole Kidman is set to star in and produce the film “The Danish Girl” in which she will play the world’s first post-op transsexual. if that isn’t wild enough for you, s/he’s married to Charlize Theron. The two Oscar winners will play Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener who hit the jackpot when hubby Einar starts posing as a female in Greta’s paintings. Complications ensue when Einar decides he likes being a chick so much, he gets an operation to make it permanent. Yeah, I guess most wives would get kinda upset over something like that.

Charlize Puts A Stop To Watch Suit

The $20 million suit between Charlize Theron and watch maker Raymond Weil has been settled out of court. Weil claimed Theron signed a lucrative exclusive endorsement deal with his company but violated the agreement by being photographed in a watch by competing brand Christian Dior.

Hey, it’s Charlize Theron! I haven’t seen her in a minute. Charlize is actually the cover girl for W Magazine’s June issue, so we’ll be seeing a lot more of her. Charlize is starring in the big summer movie, Hancock, with Will Smith, which is coming out July 2nd. Our photog spotted the Oscar winner leaving the Burbank Airport yesterday. Charize is reading The Roots of Heaven by Romain Gary, just in case you were wondering what book she was carrying around. It’s nice to know that our beautiful Hollywood starlets read, doesn’t it? We forgot to congratulate Charlize Theron in an earlier post, so it’s better late than never. The Oscar-winning actress, who was born in South Africa, told David Letterman on last night’s show that she just became a U.S. citizen. She joked that she’s always wanted to become a citizen, but the U.S. wouldn’t take her. Anyway, she went through all the procedures and recently just got sworn in. Now Charlize is officially African-American. Good times.
