Chris Brown Is Bone Deep

A day after the VMA show, Chris Brown was seen on the Los Angeles set of Bone Deep. If you’re as surprised as me to learn that Chris Brown acts, you’ll also be shocked to learn that Bone Deep is the first of three movies Brown will starring in over the next year. Bone Deep, also starring fellow VMA attendee T.I., tells the story of a group of bank robbers whose next job is interrupted by a “hard boiled” detective. We’ll have more pics from the set soon.

Our hard-working photogs spotted Chris Brown doing a little checkbook/credit card exercise at The Grove over the holiday weekend. Yes, our photogs work very hard on a holiday weekend so you, my little kumquats, can get all these great photos. Anyway, Chris was at The Grove buying Rihanna some new shoes at Nordstrom. Then he went over to Banana Republic and got her a nice trench coat. Oh, wait, it’s summer - a nice pair of shorts? Yes, we’ll go with that story. Actually, Chris was probably just hanging out with his fams during the weekend and enjoying the Farmer’s Market. Well, let’s hope they all had a blast. Don’t believe the hype - Rihanna’s not broke. She was spotted this weekend by our hardworking photogs doing a little shopping with her man, Chris Brown. The music wonders stopped by the celeb-fave Beverly Center in West Hollywood for some wallet action. Rihanna, who’s just been added as another MTV VMA performer, is rumored to be going broke. Rihanna reportedly fired her business manager, Patricia Williams, after discovering that she only had $20,000 left in her bank account. “I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off,” Williams recalled. She also claims that Rihanna’s manager and label (Def Jam) have a lot of explaining to do regarding her funds - and not her. Well, whoever is at fault, let’s hope Ms. Ri-Ri gets her finances in order. She’s such a talented girl - wouldn’t want her to not get her due.
