Courtney’s Maids Clean Up

There are some bills you can get away with, but mess with the cleaning crew! Jam!Music reports rock trainwreck Courtney Love has been ordered to come clean with the maids who tidy up her crib.
Elite Maids filed suit against Love earlier this year, claiming she stiffed them for over $3,000. The case came up in court last week, and predictably, Love was a no-show. The judge ruled for the maid service by default, so Courtney’s expected to cough up the dough.
Good luck to Elite Maids—they’ll need it to get their money from the singer, who’s been whining lately that she’s broke.

Courtney Sued By AmEx

Courtney Love may be paying for her future shopping sprees with cash, as she’s embroiled in a dispute with American Express over unpaid credit card bills.
Reuters reports AmEx filed suit in court yesterday seeking $352,059.67 is charges and fees on her Gold card. The suit charges Love’s charging privileges were suspened after she failed to make payments.
Love has struck back against the company, releasing this statement to TMZ through her lawyer: “AmEx knows the claim has no merit. We have told them this for a long time. AmEx’s law policies allowed fraudulent transactions to be charged to my client’s card.” The lawyer also claims 104 AmEx credit cards were taken out in her name, and she never charged on any of them.
It sounds like Courtney could use a good business manager—one who goes over her bills and keeps up with her credit rating.

Trailer Park Pam?

It’s kinda hard to take anything Courtney Love says seriously, since reading her disjointed prose makes your eyes bleed.
That’s why I’d take her latest pronouncement with a large shaker of salt. Page Six quotes the former Hole frontwoman as claiming, “Pam Anderson doesn’t even have a credit card. And she lives in Paradise Cove — which is in Malibu, but it’s a trailer park in Malibu.”
Since Pam’s kept up a steady stream of acting jobs over the last couple of decades, while Courtney’s last credit was dated 2002, I have to wonder who’s the princess and who’s the pauper here. Especially since Courtney’s claimed she was cheated out of late husband Kurt Cobain’s estate.

Courtney Gets Sued

Crazy lady Courtney Love is in legal hot water again—this time over making nasty statements about a fashion designer. In an action filed today, Dawn Simorangkir is suing Love on six complaints including libel, invasion of privacy-false light, intentional interference with a prospective economic advantage, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and two breach of contract chargesi.
RadarOnline reports the designer claims to have been approached by Love to create some clothes and flown to L.A. for meetings. But he relationship quickly soured last month after Simorangkir demanded payment for a dress Love had custom-ordered.
Now Simorangkir says she is “the latest victim of Love’s volatile personality, hair trigger temper, and malicious tortuous behavior.” The filing documents reveal a list of Love’s Twitter and MySpace postings in which she calls the designer a “drug addict and dealer” and “a thief a liar” who will eventually “end up in a circle of [s]corched earth hunted til your dead.” Gee, glad she doesn’t exaggerate.
Simorangkir is looking for punitive damages, attorneys’ fees, special damages, and general damages. Whatever that means. Besides the obvious fact that it means she’s ticked off at Love and wants money.

Courtney Has Daughter Shop For New Digs

Is 16-year-old Frances Bean Cobain moving into her own $6.5 million condo? That’s what a Big Apple real estate agent wondered when the teen daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain showed up to check out a luxe apartment on Mercer St. While the young lady said “she was looking for her mother,” why wouldn’t Love do her own shopping when that kind of cash is involved? But where Courtney Love is involved, does anything ever make sense?
