Victoria Beckham opened up to Allure magazine about some of her preferences, and it’s not surprising to learn that she’d rather have sex with her hunky hubby than nap! When given the choice of “sex” or “sleep,” her reply was: “I’m getting into bed with David Beckham every night, so, you know, there’d be something wrong if I said, ‘sleep.’” Hey, we can’t argue with that!

When asked if she prefers to sleep nude or in PJs, Posh answered, “I tend to wear nothing [to bed] . . . But David bought me these little sets from Agent Provocateur, his favorite store.” Sounds like this is one couple with a happy sex life—no wonder they have so many kids!

A bearded David Beckham was spotted driving one of his sons around Beverly Hills, CA, in his new Range Rover. David claims he grew the beard so he can be Wolverine from “X-Men” for Halloween!

David and Victoria Beckham have decided to move their family out of L.A.—and nobody cares. The media fanfare that greeted their entrance on the Hollywood scene two years ago has dwindled to practically nothing, and a report from Reuters gives some reasons for the lack of interest.

E!’s Ted Casablanca said, “Their impact was hugely anti-climactic for me. Hollywood should have kept Posh and Becks as a fantasy, because in reality they didn’t pan out.”

Former Us Weekly editor Bonnie Fuller thinks that the Posh style didn’t appeal to American women.She didn’t have enough hair. American women are big hair girls. They want celebrities with long, sexy hair which they can aspire to. Posh is also superglam most days, all day, and American women relate much more to Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie’s uniform of jeans, T-shirts and sexy little sweaters.”

Veteran Hollywood PR exec Howard Bragman offers that Beckhams didn’t try hard enough to fit into the scene. “I’m not sure if they chose to not be that social or if it was because there are so many other celebrities in Los Angeles. I think their careers are just fine. I think they both have had enough publicity for 10 lifetimes and I don’t think not getting it is something they go home and commiserate about.”

Well, maybe now Becks can get back to actually playing soccer.

David Beckham picked up the Brooklyn and Romeo from school yesterday in his blacked up, suped up and all around bad ass Porsche convertible. As much as my kids would think it’s cool to picked up from school in a slammed out Porsche, I don’t think I could ever be able to do that to them. It’s just my humble nature I suppose. Or perhaps I just wouldn’t want to torutue myself into thinking I possibly can be a bit more like David Beckham!

Who said soccer and song and dance don’t mix? Of course they do, according to Mark Archer, the songwriter who is putting together a musical based on David Beckham. The project’s title is said to be David Beckham – The Theater of Dreams and it will be premiering in London’s West End soon if Archer had his wish. Why oh why would the word want to see a David Beckham musical, you might be wondering. According to Archer, the stage is the perfect place to showcase David’s thirty-three years of achievements. “Beckham’s story is a modern-day fairytale of heroes, villains, love, Manchester United and what it means to lead your country,’’ he explained to the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph. “His rise from obscurity to international stardom, his universally acknowledged gifts as a supreme sportsman, and his Hollywood lifestyle all have the elements of an aspirational fable.” Archer is still in discussion with producers about bringing the project on stage, so there’s nothing confirmed. I guess we’ll just believe it when we see it.

I’m sure Vicky’s trying to figure out her outfits for this trip already. Soccer superstar and super hottie David Beckham is heading to the 2008 Olympics. The athlete will be there to take part in the closing ceremonies and to participate in “handing over” the Olympic games to London (the city hosting the 2012 games). An incredible finale will feature Beckham arriving on top of one of London’s iconic red double-decker buses – before he kicks a football into the crowd to celebrate. Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page will also perform with Leona Lewis for the special event. An insider told the U.K.’s Mirror: “It is set to be one of the most mind-blowing spectacles ever. David was elated to be asked to take part, as was everyone who has been invited.” The closing ceremonies takes place August 24.

David Beckham went for a solo ride this weekend with his new baby – a lovely black Porsche. Pretty car, ain’t it? That’s a nice little two-seater. I guess it’s not one of the family cars. I can’t imagine David or Victoria driving a minivan. It would just be weird. The handsome soccer star recently celebrated his wife’s birthday at Pink Taco with the kids. They also had another more adult dinner party with a bunch of celeb friends last night in Santa Monica. No word if they used David’s new Porsche, but knowing Posh, she probably preferred a less windy vehicle to make sure her hair stayed purty.

We know you guys can’t get enough of the Beckhams, so here’s a video from their excursion to Pink Taco last night. They were celebrating Victoria’s 34th birthday and the paparazzis were defenitely representing. David Beckham wasn’t too happy about that, obviously. It is cute how Becks and the boys got the woman in their lives some balloons for her birthday. Say what you will about the expatriates, they do spend a lot of time with their kiddies. And even if we don’t see her doing it too often, I’m sure Posh saves those smiles for her hubby and sons. Anyway, check out the video of the Beckhams as they celebrate Vick’s birthday.

I wonder who decided to celebrate Posh’s 34th birthday at a place called Pink Taco. Was it hers or David’s idea? I sure as hell have a good idea that it wasn’t the kids choice! Of course, Pink Taco doesn’t necessarily mean what I think it means, but I’m afraid it probably does. If you’re not aware of the slang term Pink Taco, or you lack the imagination, you can do a google search on your own. Once you’ve figured it out, I’m sure you’ll wonder why they would celebrate her birthday there as well! But whatever, they did and we’ve got the pictures to prove it!

Our photogs found none other than David Beckham getting a ticket yesterday in West Hollywood. I guess Becks attempted to make a left turn on a right-turn only street and the popo’ got him. Yes, popo’. Just humor me here. Anyway, I have no idea what the other squad car’s doing in the second photo below. I doubt the cop ticketing David needed backup, but I’m sure he was just curious who all the paps were taking pictures of. David was smiling and friendly throughout the ordeal, if you can call it that. I’m sure Mr. Soccer Star/Posh Spice is doing just fine. Hope he doesn’t have to go to traffic school.

I guess Victoria didn’t want to go for a bike ride with her boys. Our photogs caught up with David Beckham and sons Brooklyn and Romeo taking a leisurely bike ride in their Beverly Hills neighborhood yesterday. It was a beautiful Southern California day and the Beckham men made sure they took full advantage of it. It looks like the Beckhams are enjoying their move to Los Angeles and I know Victoria already knows her way around Rodeo Drive. I just read somewhere that Becks is going to get a rose tattoo in honor of Vickie for Valentine’s Day. He has over ten tats already, but I guess this one is going to be extra special. Whatever gets your goat. For two people who have everything, I guess you gotta’ come up with different gifting ideas for such occasions. See, these darn Spice Girls are so darn supportive of each other, it could make a miser love to give. Or something like that. David and his Spice girl wife, Victoria (Posh for all the Spicers) also spent some time at the Mint last night to watch Mel C’s sold out show. We’re wondering if Scary and Posh sat next to each other and caught up on gossip. And did David and Mel B’s husband chit chat the night away about random stuff like guys usually do when their wives are BFF’s and they’re only there because they’re the husbands. Ah, so many things to think about during the weekend. The Beckhams seem to have acclimated to Hollywood and have been active in the social scene. Okay, so David Beckham’s fans in New Zealand are a bit overzealous when it comes to his goodies. And they’re not really bending it for him, but they’re bending the laws of sanity just a wee bit. David and his new team the L.A. Galaxy were in New Zealand for an exhibition game last week and fans have gathered a lot of his leftovers to auction on the internet. And when we say leftovers, we’re not talking about turkey legs you can make soup with. One item is an uneaten french fry (yes, just one fry) that he supposedly dropped while walking in a Wellington street. Other items include a fork and spoon, as well as a half-eaten corn cob and an almost empty bottle of Coca-Cola. Wow. We thought Britney’s hair scraps on the floor when she shaved herself landing on the internet was crazy, but this is another form of fan-dom. That’s not even a word, but we’ll go with it. I guess we can’t say much more than congratulations to Mr. Beckham – for having the scrappiest fans in the world. Wow, that was a lame joke. We apologize.
