When they were together, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were the ultimate cute couple. Doesn’t this photo from their happier days make you go “Awwww?” But the pair split last year and it seemed to be over.

Until Drew and Justin began showing up together recently, including a trip to L.A.’s Farmers market this weekend. Now Variety reports that the two will be spending more time together—co-starring in New Line’s romantic comedy “Going the Distance.” The film centers on a young couple dealing with the perils of a long distance relationship.

Will working together every day for months rekindle their romance? Only time will tell. But can you blame us for hoping?

A  rather glum Drew Barrymore dropped by CAA in Beverly Hills Tuesday. She was not in the mood to answer questions about her on-and-off romance with Justin Long. I’m not crazy about the combat boots with this outfit.

Drew Barrymore appeared to be holding her nose as she crossed the parking lot of the Post Group in Hollywood yesterday. I hope this doesn’t mean her directorial debut “Whip It!” is a stinker!

A very blonde Drew Barrymore was greeted by a friendly pooch as she arrived at the Post Group in Hollywood yesterday. I’m loving the blonde hair and big, bright bag—not so sure about the ripped jeans. Fortunately, Drew’s adorable in just about anything.

It’s been eight months since her romance with Justin Long (pictured) went kaput but Drew Barrymore’s not lonely. She told E!’s Marc Malkin, “I’m not in the wrong relationship and it’s great!”

Barrymore is both a star and the co-producer of the new film “He’s Just Not That Into You” and has advice for guys on breaking off a bad relationship. 

“Not telling me? That pisses me off more than anything. I can take it. I’m a big girl. At least you know what you’re working from: Oh, he told me he’s not into me? Well, I guess there’s nothing to analyze there. What a time saver!”

Well, Drew’s certainly had her share of broken romances. But I’ll bet this single girl won’t be single much longer.

Cameron Diaz joined Liv Tyler, the Olsen twins and Britney Spears at Drew Barrymore’s Halloween party last week, but she wasn’t very sociable. A source reported to Page Six that Diaz was “outside smoking the whole time” but refused to let other guests bum a cig. Did she dress up as a witch, too, or just act like one?

This is really sad news because I thought this was the one for Drew. Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have split up, her rep confirmed to People Magazine. The couple were first spotted together last August and have been very open about their relationship. Drew even spent Thanksgiving with his family last year. The ex-couple also completed a movie together, He’s Just Not That Into You (with Jen Aniston), which will be released next year. I’m really hoping these two get back together. They made an adorable couple and hopefully they work things out.

Super cute celeb couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted at Hugo’s restaurant in West Hollywood yesterday. I just read a report about Drew being involved in a hit and run accident. Huffingtonpost.com is reporting that Drew’s car was rear-ended yesterday in West Hollywood (maybe after going to Hugo’s?). Instead of staying put, the other driver fled and Drew followed suit. She got the license plate number of the other vehicle and turned it over to the Sheriff’s Department. No arrests have been made as of today. The police don’t recommend following hit-and-run drivers, but they do acknowledge that getting a license plate number assists in catching them. Let’s hope they find Drew’s hit-and-run driver soon.

We got a video of Drew Barrymore and boyfriend Justin Long making a quick cigarette run while they were in Chicago. Drew, ever the diplomat, asked our Chicago folks very kindly to not film too long. They posed for some pictures (smiling) and all was dandy with the night. I like the fact that Drew was very polite and how she instinctively knew that our photogs were just doing their job. Drew just made a huge donation of $1 million to a UN food programme this week, so kindness does run in her blood. Yet another reason to love her. Check out the video!

Get it – apple? He’s the Mac/Apple guy. Hee. Okay, that was really lame, so I apologize. But look at these two. They’re like a couple of lovestruck teenagers. It’s quite enchanting, actually. Anyway, one of our folks in Chicago caught the couple visiting a liquor store in the city. They weren’t too privy for pictures that night, but they were nice enough to stop and smile for the cameras just one time to get this photo. Very nice of them, actually. Drew was in Chicago to tape the Oprah show and I’m sure Justin was there for moral support. And hugs. As I posted yesterday, Drew just donated $1 million of her own money to a charity benefiting children in Africa. Now they can share their smiles with folks in need. Good times!

This is definitely news E.T. can phone home about. Okay, that was lame. But what Drew Barrymore did is sooo not lame. The lovely actress/producer is in the Oprah show today and she’s announcing a donation of $1 million to the United Nations World Food Programme, which helps feed children in Africa. Drew got involved with the organization in 2005 and she also became Ambassador Against Hunger in 2007. Very nicely done, Drew. You deserve a hug for this one.

Seriously, these two are always smiling like crazy when photographed with each other, it almost gives me cavities looking at them. This happy couple is none other than Drew Barrymore and her boyfriend, Justin Long. We caught up with them yesterday at JFK Airport in New York. The two have been going steady – wait, did I just say going steady? Yes, I’m a nerd. Well, the two have been dating for a hot minute now and it looks pretty serious. Anyway, I know Justin from the great American movie called Dodgeball, but I didn’t know he’s the Mac in those Apple computer commercials! Isn’t that cool? Well, I’m sure Drew thinks it’s cool.
