Hair, Hair, Hilary’s Hair

Our photogs spotted a very camera-shy Hilary Duff leaving the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills. Homegirl got her hair did and it looks absolutely flirty and fabulous. I don’t really know what flirty hair is supposed to look like, but this has to come close. Hilary’s going to be doing her rounds of press junkets soon because her new animated movie, Foodfight!, is coming out next month. Hil will be doing the voice for one of the main characters, Sunshine Goodness. Yes, her name is Sunshine Goodness. Fitting, isn’t it? There is nothing like spending your summer afternoon reading a magazine and getting a manicure and pedicure. It’s definitely a good time treat. Our photogs spotted Hilary Duff yesterday getting her hands and toes all done up in Toluca Lake. She was reading Glamour magazine, probably checking out what’s new in lip gloss. I bet the nail ladies asked her if she wanted pretty flowers on her big toe, but she politely said no. Hil’s a simple girl, after all, and very polite at that. What’s Hilary up to these days? Well, besides starring in a summer hit (War, Inc.), Hilary actually has a new perfume out in the market. Hilary joins the Elizabeth Arden celebrity collection, which includes folks like Elizabeth Taylor, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears, who already have their own scents. The perfume is called ‘With Love…Hilary Duff’ and it’s available wherever they sell Elizabeth Arden products. And that’s the end of this Macy’s ad.

Our photogs caught up with Hilary Duff and boyfriend Mike Comrie taking a little walk through their Toluca Lake neighborhood a couple of days ago. The couple actually took a stroll to Hilary’s mom’s house and they borrowed a grilling cookbook and some seasonings. I guess either Hil or Mike grilled some treats for dinner. Hil’s carrying everything, so I’m assuming she took ownership of the job, too. Why isn’t Mike helping her carry anything, by the way? I thought that was kind of odd. Hilary had on her walking boots and scarf, ready for the cool summer nights we’ve been having. You take off those suckers (including the flesh-toned fishnets) and put her on some flip-flops and she’s ready for the beach. Just a suggestion. I’m so having a Homer Simpson moment right now. Mmm…cheesecake. Curse Hilary for making me think of Brownie Sundae Cheesecake right this moment when I’m supposed to be blogging about her. Geez, how am I going to concentrate now? Okay, let’s regroup. So our lovely photogs spotted teen-queen Hilary Duff having lunch with her man, Mike Comrie, and her momma at Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills yesterday. Hils looked casual and relaxed in cute skinny jeans and a black top. Wait, is that a top or a dress? Whatever. She looked adorable and her boy was by her side, as usual. It looks to be a pretty serious relationship, but that’s not much of a surprise with Hil. She doesn’t seem like the dating-a-bunch-of-people type. Know what I mean, Vern? Our photogs caught up with a very happy-looking Hilary Duff this morning at her local Vons in Toluca Lake. She looked pretty upbeat and smiled for the cameras, so I’m assuming the cups of coffee she’s carrying are working its wonders. Hilary currently has a hit movie out, War, Inc., with John Cusack. She plays Yonica Babyyeah, an outrageous Central Asian pop star, according to the movie’s website. I’ve heard many good things about the film, so I’m looking forward to downloading it illegally online soon. I’m kidding, of course. Next up for Hil is Foodfight, an animated feature, where she’ll lend her voice as Sunshine Goodness. Her older sis Haylie is also involved in the movie, so it will be a family affair. Good times.
