Isaiah Files Complaint Against Grey’s

If you’re going to fire me, don’t use my picture! That’s what Isaiah Washington is basically saying to his old show, Grey’s Anatomy. According to Entertainment Weekly, Isaiah Washington filed a complaint with the Screen Actors Guild, claiming a recent episode of the ABC hit used his image without permission. In the episode, Isaiah’s character (Dr. Burke) was featured in a newspaper article complete with a picture of him. He told SAG that he didn’t give permission for his likeness to be used. His publicist is stating that ABC has the rights of the character to advance the story, but not the image. Isaiah expects a financial settlement from this.

Sure that his deodorant is working, that’s what. Yes, that was lame. Sorry. But our photog did catch Isaiah Washington yesterday holding up his arm. I have no idea why he was holding up his arm. Maybe it was tired from holding his take-out, so he changed arms and rested the other. Yes, I know that made no sense. I haven’t heard much about Isaiah since he was kicked out of Grey’s Anatomy last year. Okay, his contract wasn’t renewed, but we all know he was basically swept out of the show after his controversy involving T.R. Knight and a very derogatory word. He did end up at NBC’s Bionic Woman after Grey’s, but I don’t think the show has been picked up for next season. Don’t fret for Isaiah, though. I’m sure he’ll have a new movie or show out soon. Just watch your words next time, Mr. Washington. Watch your words.
