A new book is coming out about superstar couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie—and it does not put the gorgeous actress in the most flattering light. US Weekly takes a look inside “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,” and reveals some scandalous tidbits.

Author Ian Halperin claims that Jolie, along with manager Geyer Kosinski and brother James Haven, planted stories in the press painting Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston as a cold career woman who refused to give her husband the children he craved. Halperin writes that Angie “was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch.”

Well, the ploy seems to have worked, since Jen has been forced to answer those rumors since they started in 2005.

Jennifer Aniston was back at work on the set of “The Baster” in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday. Wasn’t this film supposed to have wrapped awhile back? Hope all this re-shooting doesn’t mean the film looks like a flop!

Angelina Jolie has beaten out arch-rival Jennifer Aniston again—this time by having a more lucrative career.

Forbes magazine has released its annual list of highest-paid actresses for 2009, and Jolie took the number one spot with an estimated $27 million. Most of that came from the profits of “Wanted” and her advance check for the upcoming spy thriller “Salt.”

Coming in second to Angie (again) was Jennifer Aniston with 25 million. She was certainly well-paid for her work on the hit “Marley & Me and the upcoming “The Baster,” but a big chunk of her total comes from “Friends” and her endorsement deal with Glaceau’s SmartWater.

Rounding out the top ten are Meryl Streep, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore and Renee Zellweger. Certain tabloid-friendly young actresses should check out this list and notice that, while they may get the media coverage, it’s the serious actresses who make the big money.

Ever since Brad Pitt dumped her for Angelina Jolie and started expanding their brood, Jennifer Aniston has been insisting she will have kids of her own someday. Is she finally going to make it happen?

The Star seems to think so. The cover story in their new issue claims the 40-year-old actress already has the wheels in motion to adopt a baby boy. According to “a friend,” “She doesn’t want to wait. Her best friends all have kids, and Jen sees how much motherhood changed their lives for the best. She’s dying to have that!”

Unlike the Jolie-Pitts, Jen plans to buy adopt her kid here in the USA, and she’s working with an agency in California. Will this really happen? Well, a baby seem to be the latest accessory for the image-conscious celeb.

She’s still single, but Jennifer Aniston has something to console her —a lot of money.

The “Marley & Me” actress made Parade magazine’s list of megabucks celebs, earning a cool $27 million last year. Power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce took home $82 and $80 million, respectively. 

Who’s the real pop princess? Britney Spears made $2.25 million, but 19-year-old Taylor Swift doubled that with $5.5 million.

The ultimate money-maker was a real doll—Mattel’s Barbie who raked in $3.3 billion. Not bad for a 50-year-old broad!

John Mayer has revealed his plans for the weekend—he’ll be GF Jennifer Aniston’s arm candy at Sunday’s Academy Awards bash. Mayer told PopSugar:

“I’ll give you the scoop. I’m going to the Oscars. That’s a PopSugar scoop. It’s my first Oscars. And it’s my first being an Oscar boyfriend. After that night I have a deal almost signed in blood that says I must go into the studio and finish this record. So after Oscar Sunday, Monday morning I’m invisible.”

Good work, Jen! All eyes will be on the two of you as you walk the red carpet. Unless somebody more famous shows up at the same time to upstage you. At least you won’t have to go solo while ex-hubby Brad and new love Angelina Jolie and both nominated for Oscars. Do try not to giggle if/when they lose.

Jennifer Aniston celebrated her 40th birthday on Saturday with BF John Mayer and a few close friends. E! reports the actress and Mayer “danced and cuddled” at the bash at her Beverly Hills home.

According to E!, guests included Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Crow, David Arquette and wife Courteney Cox, Tobey Maguire and wife Jen Meyer, Laura Dern, Kevin Nealon, E!’s Chelsea Handler, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

Wonder why Jen wasn’t on John’s arm at the Grammys last night? You’d think that would be the sort of thing he’d like to share with his lady.

No, this isn’t about Jennifer Aniston’s real-life quest for motherhood. According to Variety, it’s the plot for her her film, co-starring Jason Bateman. 

“‘The Baster’ centers on a neurotic and insecure man (Bateman) who finds out his best friend (Aniston) wants to have a child through artificial insemination. He surreptitiously replaces her donor’s semen with his own and is then forced to live with the secret that he is the child’s real father.”

This sounds like a creepy sort of wish-fulfillment fantasy. Hope it doesn’t give Jen ideas.

John Mayer’s been neglecting his lady Jennifer Aniston—and another rocker may be waiting his chance to swoop in and steal her away.

Gatecrasher reports that while the two got together for a Super Bowl party over the weekend, Jen’s not his top priority. Their source stated, “John’s goal is to keep a low profile this year, and Jen is about as far off from low-profile as you can get. He just wants to keep out of the spotlight and finally concentrate on his music.”

While he’s busy making his record, “Rock of Love” star Bret Michaels is planning to make a move on Jennifer. A pal reports. “Bret is really crushing on Jen. He says she’s the kind of girl you can have a good time with, but can still take home to Mom.”

Hmm… Maybe after all the turmoil of the last few years, a good time is just what Jen needs right now!

“Marley & Me,” starring Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and a really cute pooch, has topped the box office for a second week. 20th Century Fox reports the film took in 24.1 million this weekend for a total of $106.5 million since its opening Christmas day. Jen’s ex Brad Pitt came in second again when his romantic drama “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” raked in $18.4 million.

It’s nice that her career is thriving since her love life seems to be going nowhere fast.

Jennifer Aniston spent Christmas with BFF Courteney Cox Arquette and her family. Now she’ll be ringing in the New Year with them, too. Aniston arrived in the resort town of Los Cabos, Mexico, over the weekend. But she won’t be a third wheel when the group parties in 2009 tonight since sometime boyfriend John Mayer and his brothers joined them on Saturday. Will Mayer pop the question as they stroll down a moonlit Mexican beach? Probably not.

Jennifer Aniston is queen of the Christmas box office this year, as her film “Marley & Me,” which co-stars Owen Wilson, opened with $14.5 million. Exhibitor Relations cites this as a new record for a Christmas Day opening. Jen’s ex Brad Pitt scored $11.8 million with “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Tanking as predicted was the much-hyped Tom Cruise film “Valkyrie” with $8.5 million. Which proves moviegoers don’t want Nazis for Christmas.

You’d expect any woman who looks that good naked to have guys clamoring to date her but a few months ago, Jennifer Aniston had to ask friends to set her up. Split from beau John Mayer and facing premieres and appearances for two films,”He’s Not That Into You” and “Marley and Me,” Aniston didn’t want to be seen dateless on the red carpet. Especially since ex-husband Brad Pitt’s film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” opens the same day as the latter and he would be flaunting current love Angelina Jolie. A source told Page Six that Aniston “did not want to be single when her movie opened. A friend of her agent was calling around asking for young men whom they could set her up with.”

Fortunately, Aniston was spared those awkward blind dates—she and Mayer reconnected and have been looking very cozy in public.

Jennifer Aniston keeps talking about getting pregnant but never seems to get around to doing anything about it. Now she’s blabbing to Entertainment Weekly about having a baby—someday. She talked bout the speculation that she’s attempting to get sperminated by John Mayer.

“Oh my God, it’s hysterical. It’s almost going to take away the fun from actually being able to say one day, ‘I’m pregnant!’”

She’s still talking about having a little one in the future, just like she’s been doing since Brad dumped her.

“I’m on the verge of it in some way—or it’s something I long for.”

Aniston better quit longing and start doing if she expects results. She’s over 40 already and if she doesn’t get busy, Brangelina will have a ten-kid head start on her.

Jennifer Aniston is on the cover of this weekend’s NY Times magazine shilling her new movie “He’s Not That Into You.” No, it’s not the story of her life. And it’s not the one about the dog she did with Owen Wilson—that one comes out next month. We’re going to be really tired of her by then if we aren’t already. For once she’s talking about something other than Brangelina and how mean they are. Like the title of the film.

“I wish it was ‘She’s Just Not That Into You.’ Unfortunately, it’s ‘He’s Just Not That Into You.’ The other would be more empowering.”

Yes, and you wish Brad hadn’t signed on to do “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” but it’s a little late for that now.

Sweethearts John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston were back at their favorite hangout the Sunset Tower last night for a romantic late evening dinner. An onlooker stated:

“They were positively glowing in the candlelight…They were very happy and goofy. They seemed to revel in their privacy.”

Maybe this time Jen will really be “lucky in love.”

Jennifer Aniston starred in one of the most successful comedies in TV history but her ability to attract viewers seems to have waned over the years. Last night’s episode of “30 Rock” on which she appeared was the lowest-rated of the season. This year’s “30 Rock” numbers have been bolstered by Tina Fey’s dead-on Sarah Palin impressions on “SNL” but big guest stars like Aniston and Oprah Winfrey don’t seem to be making much of an impression.
