What They Did On The Fourth…

Jenny McCarthy and honey Jim Carrey took a nice walk on the beach in Malibu. So romantic, aren’t they? And Jenny’s looking hot in that bathing suit…
…And so is Jim. Gotta’ love a boyfriend you can share clothes, er, bikinis with. Okay, these two just moved up in my list of fave celeb couples.
Lance Armstrong took an early morning bike ride along PCH with a couple of his buddies.
Later that day, Lance took his son to a medical building in Beverly Hills. I was told that girlfriend Kate Hudson (not pictured) dropped the duo off and picked them up. Yeah, they’re definitely in couple-dom now.
Pete Wentz and his missus Ashlee went to a friend’s BBQ in the Hollywood Hills to celebrate the fourth. They even took their adorable pup with them. Hope they gave that dog a bone or something to chew on.
Here’s Pete looking happy and well after the shindig. He must have had some yummy ’slaw and yummy BBQ’d ribs. Wait, is Pete a vegetarian? Somehow, I just picture him being a vegetarian.
Where Their Assistants Are Returning Gifts

Many celebrity assistants are probably out doing the same, except they’re not going to be in the customer service line at Target with you. Here’s a short recap of where some of our favorite celebs shopped this holiday season, and where their assistants might be getting some store credit.
Our first starlet is Carmen Electra, who was seen shopping at Intuition in Beverly Hills. Intuition carries everything from cute French Sole ballet flats to Norma Kamali dresses. I’m sure Carmen in all her adorable yellow jacket glory got tons of great gifts here. I’m going to assume her assistant would not return anything from this store, unless she wanted the cash back. Before Hannah Montana, there was Hilary Duff, and she is now all grown up. Hilary’s become quite the young woman and she has great taste. We found her shopping at Maxfield and Alessi, both in West Hollywood. They have great coats and luxurious goodies at Maxfield, so if she got her assistant anything there, homegirl should be all warm and cozy today, or she’s wearing a nice Cartier watch. Either way, she wins! Good shopping choices, Hil.
Little girls always learn from their mamas and Kathy Hilton is not any different. Our photogs caught up with her and second daughter Nicky shopping in Beverly Hills. They visited different boutiques around Rodeo Drive, but a shopping staple for both mom and daughter is Barneys New York. The posh department store is a regular stop-over for many celebs and we’ve seen the Hiltons there throughout the year. Last but not the least is Jenny McCarthy, who visited every woman’s fantasy shoe store - Christian Louboutin. Jenny’s assistant probably got some nice knee-length boots or fabulous daytime flats. Remember when Jenny McCarthy used to host that one dating game show in MTV, ‘Singled Out’? She was freakin’ hilarious in that darn show. She’s silly and self-deprecating, which is very refreshing for such a hot chick. Anyway, we found Jenny shopping at Christian Louboutin this weekend, still looking like a hottie. She has mighty good taste in shoes that’s for sure, because Christian Louboutins are super fab! Hopefully she picked out a few feet goodies for herself and some for the lucky folks on her list. I’d really like to see her in a good drama, just to surprise folks with her acting abilities (just like her boyfriend, Jim Carrey). Seriously, I bet she has some talents she hasn’t shown us. But anyways, we’ll await what comes next for Ms. Jenny. Until then, here are some more photos for your pleasure.
