Busy Bee Shopper

Nicole Richie was certainly a busy little bee yesterday, making her rounds to a bunch of stores for Joel Madden’s birthday. What a nice girlfriend. She passed by Marc Jacobs and came out with a few boxes, assumingly for her honey. Nicole then made her way to a party supply store and got a bunch of goodies - balloons, birthday banners and cards (including a ‘pushing 30′ one). Joel turns 29 today. H Is For Harlow

Harlow’s momma and poppa were caught by our photogs leaving their Los Angeles home today. Nicole was sporting a lovely necklace with an ‘H’ charm, obviously for their newborn angel. The couple have been out and about lately, making appearances at Oscar parties a couple of weeks ago, or hanging out with friends at their old haunts. These are a different generation of parents, folks. Yes, they have kids, but they still party on the side. Balance, people. Balance. Now we’re just awaiting the first time they bring out baby Harlow for a little road trip.
Joel Takes A Lunch Break

Daddy Madden looks like he decided to take a break from fatherhood and go out for lunch today. He grabbed Carney’s Express on this beautiful afternoon in LA. I bet you he didn’t know that being a dad was such a full time job; since the baby we haven’t seen much of him and Nicole lately. They must really love living the “simple life”. But I hear babies can be expensive, and since Good Charlotte hasn’t done anything in eons, maybe Joel took advantage of the help wanted sign posted. Hot Dogs anyone?
Joel Takes Break From Diaper Duty

Sometimes newborns keep you up all night and waking up in the morning could be a pain in the arse. Thus, Joel Madden probably needed a pick-me-up yesterday, so he went to Coffee Bean in West Hollywood for a cup of java. Taking a mini-break from his honey and new baby, Joel was out and about yesterday. I believe Joel’s recording a new album, but we haven’t seen him with his brother at the studio yet. Then again, Benji is busy with Paris these days. At least they can double date. More pics of Joel are on the way. Have at them.
Joel Back To Work

New dad Joel Madden was back to work yesterday, as our photogs caught up with him heading over to a recording studio in North Hollywood. Joel’s girlfriend, Nicole Richie, gave birth to their daughter, Harlow, about a month ago. He was such a doting and supportive boyfriend during her pregnancy and I’m sure he’s the same, if not more, with the new littel girl in the house. I guess Joel’s back in the studio to record again, but I’m not sure if it’s with his brother and Good Charlotte partner, Benji. At any rate, I have more pics of Joel packing up his guitar and getting back to work below. Enjoy.
