New mom Katherine Heigl received visits from family and friends including T.R. Knight, who came out with baby drool on his right shoulder, and Dr. Tommy Tomizawa, at her home in Los Angeles, CA. Hubby Josh Kelley made a run at a local store while Katherine’s Mom dropped off presents and mail. The “Grey’s Anatomy” star and her husband adopted 10-month-old daughter Naleigh last week.

Is this why she kicked that nasty smoking habit? “Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl is adopting a baby!
RadarOnline reports the actress and her husband Josh Kelley are in the process of adopting a 10-month-old girl from Korea. Her name is now Nayleigh, but the couple plans to call her Leigh. A source told Radar, “She is thrilled. She and Josh are so happy.”
Maybe this will make the honchos at “Grey’s” cut down on those 17-hour days Kathrine’s been complaining about.

Katherine Heigl has often been photographed smoking a cigarette—and just as often been criticized for it. But now the “Gray’s Anatomy” star has managed to kick the habit. The IMDB reports Heigl has been smoke-free for over a month.
The actress has lamented, “I started smoking when I was 24, because I’m an idiot. I don’t enjoy it so much now, because I’ve become such a slave to it. I hate planning my life around when I’m getting a cigarette.”
So has the 30-year-old star kicked the nicotine habit for general health reasons—or is she planning to get pregnant sometime soon?

Knight’s Out For “Grey’s”

Fans of “Grey’s Anatomy” don’t have to wait to discover the fate of T.R. Knight’s character George O’Malley—he’s a goner.
EW has revealed the actor has been granted a release from his contract, ending a long dispute over what Knight considered a lack of screen time for his character. Series creator Shonda Rhimes finally agreed to Knight’s request to get out of his contract, despite having three years left to go.
So where does Knight go from here? Who cares? What we really want to know is, what happens to Izzie? Katherine Heigl has also been open about her desire to leave the show, and the season finale left the impression that George and Izzie were on the same elevator to the Pearly Gates. But I suspect TPTB at “Grey’s” will make us wait until fall for the answer to that one.
