When The Wife’s Away

When the wife’s away, the hubby plays with the dogs? Of course they do. While Katherine McPhee was out and about around town, husband Nick Cokas made sure their two pooches were walked and taken care of. Our photogs caught Katherine walking the dog yesterday, so I guess they take turns or something. Katherine looked much calmer when she strolled with the dogs, though, unlike Nick who looks like he’s scolding that poor little champion. It’s not like they’ll stop pooping if you yell at them. That’s not how dogs work. Well, Nick is still doing his husband duties and walking the dogs for Valentine’s Day, so we shouldn’t nitpick on his dog-sitting ways. And like his wife, he picks up after the dogs, so that’s a good thing. More pics of Nick walking the pooches are available below.
Some Sit-Ups For Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is definitely the perfect time for couples to indulge each other, but it’s especially important for newlyweds. Fresh from their wedding vow bliss and honeymoon romance, February 14th is another day they can be super cheesy without offending anyone. Newlywed Katherine McPhee knows this and knew that she’d need a lot of energy for Valentine’s Day, thus she made sure she was prepared. Our photogs caught up with her going to the gym today. What better way to prepare for a big night with her honey than some sit-ups and a crack at the treadmill? Smart girl. You’ll need a lot of energy tonight, Katherine. Have fun and make some babies!
Katherine Takes Out The Pooches

After taking in days of the beautiful Hawaiian sun, there’s nothing better than coming home to poop. If it involves your cute doggies’ poop, then you sure as hell wouldn’t mind. Katherine McPhee sure didn’t mind, as she was spotted taking her two adorable dogs out for a walk yesterday near her Studio City home. Fresh from her Hawaiian honeymoon, Katherine made sure she was prepared to pick up anything her little pooches were going to, um, excrete. I like that. A pet owner who actually picks up after her dogs. Good job, Katherine. Of course, we have more pictures of the newlywed for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.
Honeymoon’s Over

Technically speaking, the honeymoon’s over, but I’m sure they’re still in that lovey-dovey stage. Katherine McPhee and new husband Nick Cokas arrived last night at LAX from their honeymoon in Hawai’i. Katherine looks like she did a bit of shopping while in Oahu and Nick looks like he’s learning his new role as her bag carrier. That’s really one of the many uses, er, roles of a husband, isn’t it? I’m sure he’s happy to do it. Katherine will have a movie out this year called I Know What Boys Like, and one of her co-stars is Rumer Willis, Bruce and Demi’s offspring. It’s about a Playboy bunny who gets kicked out of the Playboy mansion and ends up befriending a bunch of girls from a sorority. There’s a message strewn in somewhere in the movie, but I guess we’ll have to wait when the film comes out to find it. Fair enough. I have more pictures of Katherine and her new hubby after this. Katharine McPhee Gets Married

American Idol alum Katharine McPhee got hitched today. Katharine married producer Nick Cokas at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. Fellow AI alums Mandisa and Kellie Pickler were on hand with the other 300 plus guests. Katharine and Nick met in 2005 when they performed at a Los Angeles production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Well, good times for Katharine and congratulations to the happy couple! No word on where they’ll be honeymooning.
