Lady Gaga To Tour Solo – So Long, Kanye!

Who needs Kanye West? Nobody I can think of, but especially not Lady Gaga, who seems to have kicked Mr. Ego to the curb.
Yesterday, Live Nation announced that the “Fame Kills” tour starring Lady Gaga and Kanye West was abruptly cancelled. Rumor has it that sales were terrible, even compared to other tours in this year of recession. But don’t expect Lady Gaga to spend the next few months lounging around the house. At today’s Billboard Women in Music Event, the pop star revealed she will be touring after all—minus West. “It was a mutual decision. Kanye’s going to take some time off. But the good news is that I’m going on tour in a few weeks.”
While the Lady remains discreet, her choreographer Lori Ann Gibson Twittered that “creative differences” between Gaga and West led to the demise of the joint tour. That’s usually polite talk for “they hate each other’s guts.” No doubt Lady Gaga will do just fine without West and his drama—especially if Taylor Swift’s fans come out to support her.

“Not Guilty,” Says Kanye

Kanye West has avoided a trip to court—but his legal problems are far from over.
TMZ reports attorney-to-the-stars Blair Berk slipped into an L.A. court on Friday and entered West’s “not guilty” plea to charges of battery. West and his manager got into a fracas with a photographer at LAX in September, which left the pap with a smashed camera and the rapper facing charges of misdemeanor battery, grand theft and vandalism.
A pre-trial hearing is set for July 15, if legal eagle Berk can’t strike a plea bargain by then. Her client could get 2 1/2 years in the slammer for this, but he won’t. That’s why high-priced lawyers make those big bucks.

Kanye Socked With Charges

TMZ reports that Kanye West has been charged with three criminal misdemeanors resulting from a camera-smashing incident at LAX in September.
The L.A. City Attorney charged West with vandalism, battery, and grand theft, and also charged Don Crowley with two counts of vandalism, two counts of battery and two counts of grand theft. The pair were taped attacking a TMZ photographer.
If convicted on all counts, Kanye could get up to 2 1/2 years in jail while Crowley could get five years. Like that’s going to happen. Kanye will walk with a fine and maybe probation.

She Definitely Has Good Taste

Lil miss Rihanna has been linked to Chris Brown for some time now and while they choose to deny it and claim they are just “good friends”, we choose to believe otherwise. The two have been spotted at multiple locations together, on private trips, and of course its been rumored that they’ve definitely been canoodling. Well, it turns out she’s got her eye on another hottie star, one of my favorite artists right now, Mr. Kanye West. According to an onlooker at a recent T.I. concert:
“Rihanna was sitting on Kanye’s lap, singing along to the music. Before long, the two were full-on kissing each other.”
I wonder how they’re gonna spin this one… “Oh we’re just friends. Friends make out with each other, right?” I so enjoy the love triangles that involve my favorite and I must add, most fashion forward, singers of today. I mean really, I wouldn’t mind seeing the three of them rocking a sort of menage a trois because imagine the clothes! They could each style each other and look like the best versions of themselves, maybe even morph into some sort of androgynous, rockstar, futuristic style. Ahh to dream…
