Magazine Covers: Keira On Vogue

The September fall fashion issue of Vogue Magazine is upon us and Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley gets the cover girl honor. As the cover states, Keira is a fashion star, pirate queen and the sexiest Duchess out there. She is also one of the few actresses who’ve spoken out about photo airbrushing. As I reported a few weeks ago, Keira was not too happy about being asked to enhance her assets (breasts) for promotional pics for her upcoming movie, Duchess. In 2004, her promo shots for King Arthur had her sporting a C-cups instead of her natural A-cup boobs, which she publicly admitted, but she went along with the publicity campaign anyway. Thank goodness she made her voice heard regarding the Duchess photos.
Keira Refuses Enhancements On Photos

Keira Knighley is very happy with how her natural body looks on photos and is refusing any enhancements on publicity photos for her upcoming movie, The Duchess. According to the UK’s Daily Mail, the studio heads wanted to enchance Keira’s cleavage in the promotional photos for the movie, but Keira refused. “She has insisted that her figure stay in its natural state,” an insider said. “She is proud of her body and doesn’t want it altered.” Her attitude may stem from the negative feedback she received in 2004 when her breasts looked larger than usual in some stills from her movie, King Arthur. “Those things certainly weren’t mine,” she told Fox News then, and proceeded to say that the studio marketing team were in charge of her increased boobage, but she had final approval of the photos. I’m glad Keira stood her ground this time and decided against having her pictures doctored. Let Keira shine for all flat-chested girls out there!
