Grammer’s “Hank” Yanked

Former”Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer is on a roll—too bad it’s downhill. Last year, his Fox series “Back to You” was cancelled after one season. Now the AP reports that his new show “Hank” has been axed by ABC after less than two months.
Former co-star Patricia Heaton’s series “The Middle” has been picked up for a full season, while ABC will use the “Hank” for reruns of the hit “Modern Family” and holiday specials. Sorry, Kelsey! Better luck next time.

With the last couple of days of sick and hospitalized celebrities in the news (Morgan Freeman, Christina Applegate), this one’s a nice reprieve. Frasier star Kelsey Grammer is out of the hospital, after checking in for an irregular heartbeat, E! News reports. He admitted himself last Monday at a New York hospital after feeling faint and was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. His rep, Stan Rosenfield, released the following statement: “Kelsey Grammer is out of the hospital, feeling great and about to resume normal activities at home.He and his wife Camille want to thank everyone who expressed concern. They appreciated the kind words.” This is certainly good news and we wish Kelsey a speedy recovery.

Kelsey Suffers Mild Heart Attack

Frasier star Kelsey Grammer had a mild heart attack on Saturday. He experienced symptoms after paddle boarding with his wife Camille near their home in Hawaii. He is currently in an undisclosed hospital in Honolulu. His reps released a statement that said he is now “resting comfortably” and should be released early this week. Kelsey can next be seen in Swing Vote with Kevin Costner and Dennis Hopper. The movie will be released in August. Let’s hope Kelsey feels better soon.
