Kristin Opens Up About The Drink

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis recently opened up to Health Magazine about her battle with alcoholism. “I’m a recovering alcoholic,” the actress, 43, tells the magazine. “I’ve never hid it, but I’ve been sober the whole time I’ve been famous, so it wasn’t like I had to go to rehab publicly.” Kristin says that she’s been sent a few cosmopolitans by fans when she’s out, but she never drinks them. Kristin also opened up about possibly wanting to adopt one day. She’s certainly not as marriage and kid crazy like her character Charlotte, but Kristin’s open about having kids. She said she admires anyone who adopts children. So when you see Kristin out having dinner and want to send something to her table, opt for the dessert menu instead.

Yes, yes, I know her name is Kristin Davis, but she will always be Charlotte. I bet she gets called that way too often and probably hates that name by now. Well, our NY photogs caught up with Kristin yesterday in NYC. She looked very chic and relaxed, even amid all the sex tape rumors as of late. Kristin’s been in the busines for a long time, so I’m sure she handled the scandal very well. Plus, she recently participated in a very worthwhile cause. Just like Scarlett Johansson, Kristin offered an auction through eBay for Oxfam International. The price - a chance to meet her at the Sex and the City premiere and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. The final bid came in at $52,100 (Scarlett’s came in at $42,000). Good times for a good cause!
