Death On Wisteria Lane?

It’s sweeps time, and for “Desperate Housewives” fans, that means we can expect a major disaster on Wisteria Lane. There have been rumors for weeks that a plane can be expected to crash into the neighborhood during the annual Christmas party, and somebody’s not going to survive.
Now E! reveals that the crash will trap two characters inside their home—Bree and Orson. The unfortunate Orson, played by Kyle McLachlan, is the character most often picked to take the dirt nap for this one. But that’s not all—another of the main wives can be expected to suffer a loss, possibly involving a child.
Whatever happens, we’ll have to wait for the show to return after the holidays to find out all the details.

Return Of The Husbands

The guys of Wisteria Lane have returned for another season. Kyle MacLachlan and onscreen wife Marcia Cross took shade under an umbrella as they strolled across the set of “Desperate Housewives” as the show filmed on location in Hollywood. CA. Also back in action is Ricardo Chavira as Gabby’s long-suffering hubby Carlos. This should be an especially interesting season, with Mike’s mystery wedding, Gabby back to her diva ways and the addition of “Sopranos” star Drea de Matteo.

It looks like all the guys on Wisteria Lane got away from their wives for an occasion. Ricardo Chavira, James Denton, Kyle MacLachlan, Charles Carver, Steven Culp, Richard Borgi and Joy Lauren were snapped on the set of “Desperate Housewives,” filming on location in Hollywood, CA.

Our photogs got some fabulous pictures of Marcia Cross and Kyle MacLachlan taking a little break from filming Desperate Housewives yesterday in Pasadena, CA. Marcia, who has twin girls, is probably giving first-time dad Kyle some parenting tips. Kyle’s wife, producer Desiree Gruber, just gave birth to the couple’s first child a couple of weeks ago – a son they named Callum Lyon. What a strong name. Desperate Housewives, which is entering its fifth season, has its season opener scheduled for September 28. In the new season, the show’s timeline will be jumping ahead five years, so it should be quite interesting. Marcia’s Bree character will be running her own successful business in the new storyline, a la Martha Stewart, so Ms. Cross is definitely going to be fun to watch. You’ll have to wait a month or so for the season opener, so satiate your DH appetite by checking out more pics after the jump. Enjoy.

Desperate Housewives Come Home

The Desperate Housewives cast and crew are back in full force. We have tons more pics of the leading ladies (and gentlemen) returning to the set in Hollywood today. Look how happy Felicity Huffman looks below. She should really get some residuals from Sony for that Vaio product placement. And look how fierce Marcia Cross is looking as Bree. I know she had some time to spend with her kiddies while on break, but it looks like she’s ready to go back to being a desperate housewife. And Kyle McLachlan really knows how to go from one group of gorgeous ladies to another – he was Trey on Sex And The City and now he’s Bree’s hubby on DH. He should really send his agent a gift basket. We also have a video from the set coming right up for y’all soon, so stay tuned. Good times on a happy Friday!
