Riding To Splitsville

Yes, that was definitely quick. Kate Hudson and cyclist Lance Armstrong have split up over the weekend, Us Magazine reports, and it ended amicably. “There was no drama or ugliness – they just decided to end things,” a source close to the couple told the magazine. “There is no hatred, just sadness.” Lance and Kate went public with their relationship when they were spotted together in Austin, TX in May. After they were “outed”, the couple became inseparable and were photographed together from New York to Los Angeles. They’ve even introduced the other to their respective families/kids. Lance went on a much-photographed lunch outing with Kate’s mom, Goldie Hawn, just about a month and a half ago in a Santa Monica eatery. And we can’t forget the number of times Lance took his kids and Kate’s son, Ryder, to tennis camp this summer. Everything just seemed so…perfect. I guess ’seemed’ is the right word here because as we know now, the two are no longer. Oh, well. I’m sure they’ll both bounce back from this unscathed. And on to the next one…

Our photogs spotted Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong paying Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey’s new baby a visit in the hospital. Remember, Lance and Matthew are pretty good buddies, and so are Kate and Matthew. She is, after all, like Matt’s main leading lady. I think they’ve done, what, three movies together? Lance and Kate stayed for a bit before they headed to Santa Monica airport for an out of town trip. She and Lance were in Lake Tahoe by last night, where they attended some festivities for the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. Lance’s foundation is said to be one of the beneficiaries. Wow, sounds like they had a busy day. Check out a couple more photos below.

Our photogs spotted the It Couple of the moment, Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong, playing a little tennis today in Palisades. These two have been inseparable the last few weeks. Does he live with her now, too? Their relationship definitely got seriously quickly. Kate’s son Ryder has even hung out with the cyclist and his kids without his mama. Yeah, they’re that comfortable with each other’s families already. Score(?). Speaking of Ryder, Kate recently told OK! Magazine that her son’s suddenly developed an interest in women’s breasts. Here are some more pictures from the Fourth of July weekend starring Lance Armstrong and his new lady love, Kate Hudson. The couple (and one of Lance’s daughters) were spotted doing a lot of shopping at Benton’s Sporting Goods store in Palisades. These two are definitely in serious couple mode. I mean, you don’t introduce your kids just to anyone, and it looks like they’re already past the introduction phase and on to the getting to know my partner’s kids chapter. I’ll be posting more photos of Lance spending more time with the children (including Kate’s son, Ryder) at a later post. Kate and Lance only started dating (and went public) in May, so you they must have really connected. Check out more photos of the couple doing some family time below.

Jenny McCarthy and honey Jim Carrey took a nice walk on the beach in Malibu. So romantic, aren’t they? And Jenny’s looking hot in that bathing suit…
…And so is Jim. Gotta’ love a boyfriend you can share clothes, er, bikinis with. Okay, these two just moved up in my list of fave celeb couples.
Lance Armstrong took an early morning bike ride along PCH with a couple of his buddies.
Later that day, Lance took his son to a medical building in Beverly Hills. I was told that girlfriend Kate Hudson (not pictured) dropped the duo off and picked them up. Yeah, they’re definitely in couple-dom now.
Pete Wentz and his missus Ashlee went to a friend’s BBQ in the Hollywood Hills to celebrate the fourth. They even took their adorable pup with them. Hope they gave that dog a bone or something to chew on.
Here’s Pete looking happy and well after the shindig. He must have had some yummy ’slaw and yummy BBQ’d ribs. Wait, is Pete a vegetarian? Somehow, I just picture him being a vegetarian.
