Larry Was Duped By Madoff

We can add talk show host Larry King to the growing list of celebs who lost money to swindler Bernie Madoff. Page Six reports that the CNN star lost over $1 million to Madoff’s Ponzi scheme.
While King makes $7 million a year, he’s taken some financial hits. He suffered a heart attack in 2007 and last year had to put his wife Shawn into rehab for addiction to painkillers.
It’s becoming harder to trust anyone to handle your money these days.

Larry’s Book Deal

Here are a couple of pictures of Larry King walking around Beverly Hills this weekend. It seems like everyone and their mamas were walking around Beverly Hills this weekend. Our paps caught up with the casually dressed CNN talk-show host strolling along looking pretty peppy. Larry recently signed a deal with Weinstein Books (run by old Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein) to publish his autobiography, ‘What Am I Doing Here?’. In the book, Larry will talk about everything from his humble beginnings in Depression-era Brooklyn to his rise as the host of CNN’s Larry King Live. Sounds good to me. The book will be released just in time for Father’s Day next year. Good times.
